This is a great elliptical for the price. Does exactly what I wanted it for. Was a pain in the butt to assemble, but once it was done, and all the screws and nuts and bolts were tightened, it works perfectly. No squeaking, no rattling, completely stable. People who have had problems with instability or rattling simply haven't put it together properly or haven't tightened the hardware. Mine is perfectly quiet, and I don't even have to turn the TV up. One word of advice, though....read the tag on the parts that attach the foot peddles. It will save you a lot of frustration. Why the "note" on the tag couldn't have been included in the actual instructions makes no sense to me. Who looks elsewhere for further instructions? I'd be completely happy with my purchase if only it came with a cup holder for my water bottle. :o) Btw, I'm a 59 year old female who put it together by herself with no help. If I can do it, you can too!

The elliptical worked for a few months and slowly got more difficult to pedal until it would not turn at all. After looking inside, the belt had frayed and tangle around everything. It appeared the parts were not properly aligned which caused fraying. Contacted their customer support three times and have never gotten a response. Don't count on them for any help. Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against the company. Update 04/24/21: The company reached out and has replaced (free of charge) the bottom half of the elliptical. I have updated my review to reflect their efforts and will update again in a few months to let you everyone know more about the hardware.

What I disliked most were the instructions to put it together. Where the bolts were already placed on the part to be put together there was no problem. But the instructions required a familiarity with the nomenclature of the parts which I did not have, I believe a better instructions manual would have really helped. Now what I liked is the end result, a machine that is really a great value for the money, absolutely quiet, and gives me an aerobic workout. Anyone listening to me as I was putting it together would not have guessed that I would be pleased with the end result, more likely seeing it sent back or trashed. I will say this, if I were young and athletic I would recommend opting for a more expensive machine with more frills and greater range of motion. For an older person who just wants to keep in shape this machine will do what you want.

The machine looks nice, it takes some time to assemble it, but it is fun to do it. I was happy for a month until it stopped working. I contacted customer service, and six months later, I'm still waiting for them to give me it has a solution or a refund. Neither of that has happened yet. For more details: The belt frayed, and the machine got stuck, making an awful noise. I contact customer service, they took them 15 days to answer. They said they will send a new belt to solve the problem. I change the belt (it took me a lot of time to change it), then it got frayed again. I call again. They said that they realized (by looking at the pictures I send the first time) that it was another part that they should have sent. 6 months later, I'm still waiting for the part, and they never answer again. They finally sent the piece to repair the nachine. It took me some time to replace the parts. I keep using the Elliptica for another six months and my knees started to swallow. I notice that this happens when i use this machine and not when i used the Elliptica from the gym. I conclude that this elliptica machine is too short so the position of the jnees and the angle in which the force is made is not healthy for my knees. I don’t recommend buying this product.

This elliptical is great! The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because the tension doesn’t work and is set on the tightest setting. When assembling the cord would not loosen so that I could place it together properly. Other than that, assembly was a breeze. I had it together I’m about 1.5 hours by myself.

Its all business. I’ve already had a great experience with SHF when I bought a stationary bike from Amazon. They produce attractive exercise equipment. But what piece of exercise equipment isn’t. This doest have that sexy red an silver like the others, but the have them. Check out the SF-E3865. Its a secure unit and it looks better than I expected. As you can see in the pic, it comes with the fly wheel assembled and it practically puts itself together. Great range motion that targets well. Although I’ve been training for quite some time this my 1st real elliptical incorporation into my routine and its a power house. The upper movement hardly assist the lower (Im a long time bodybuilder) its a full body work out. It comes with end caps to go on the bolt heads, I prefer the bare bones styling. Its also quite.. very, just the flywheel. Awesome Value! You alright Sunny Health & Fitness. Peace! UPDATE: Its October, almost 5 months of routine use and no noise. Fly wheel still strong. You can change the pedal position to suit your stride and you can lock the time so you don’t have to wait for it. The time will also stop if you have to get off and start back when you do. Of course the workout is terrific and will challenge you for quite some time.

I really like it, especially for the price! It was fairly easy for my Dad to put together( yeah I'm a little spoiled lol) and its a great workout. I have chronic back pain but I still wanted to find exercise that I could do to strengthen my back muscles without causing additional injury. It's a great cardio workout with low impact when you step down, as opposed to running where your whole body weight lands on that foot. This is great for anyone who has any type of joint problems etc. Because of the different settings, you can set it to high resistance and get just as good of a cardio workout as running. i put mine near the tv and just zone out while I get hotter bu the minute;)

The assembly took some time. To assemble the front staff that holds the guage was touch to assemple as the cables seemed to be too short but was able to adjust the tensioner. The second problem was one of the side covers was broken. I contacted amazon about the issue and my options were, send back for a refund or replacement or a nice discount in which I accepted because I did not want to disassemble. The options were acceptable. There was some rubbing within the drive wheel/belt area but the manual told you how to solve this issue. Oh, the order arrived 4 days earlier than initially told. It feels sturdy.
