After reading the reviews about the hand rails being a bit wobbly, when I assembled them, I inserted a piece of aluminum sheet metal approximately 1" x 5" where each upright fits into the bracket on the steps. The custom assembled product is very sturdy.My dock has an aluminum frame, and I had no problem attaching it to my dock. (I used pins that drop in, so I can remove the steps in 10 seconds.) It might be tight screwing the top bolts into a wood dock.I am a bit concerned about what it is made of. It is PAINTED aluminum gray. I filed through the paint in one place, and it appears to be painted aluminum. I couldn't confirm that the bolts that hold everything together are stainless steel or whether they are just plated steel, in which case the will rust eventually. You don't touch any of the bolts when you are using the steps so If they do rust, they shouldn't affect the usefulness of the steps for a very long time.

Pretty nice, a good value and manufactured well. The step treads are a tad narrow for barefoot use would be my only comment.

Strong but light weight, easy to assemble.Steps are a little narrow but I'm very pleased for the price. Easy to adjust the legs for water depth.

Purchased these steps to go down from our dock into the water. These types of stairs from a dock dealer would have been almost $1000 so this solution was a no brainer. Set up was extremely easy and only took about 15 minutes. My only complain is I thought it came with non slip pads for the stairs which it didn't. When I contacted the mfr I was basically told "sorry, can't help you". Disappointing

Nice stairs when assembled. It would be helpful it you had two people assemble at least the stairs portion. Instruction are typical for a product built in China.

Perfect to get in and out of my inground pool however I don’t think it’s good for my salt water pool. It started corroding I ve tried all types of paint but still corroding It prowont last this summer

I received my ladder today, opened up the box and saw some things you wouldn’t think that was there if this was a new product or this was stored someplace where got rust on it. I hope the manufacturer will see this and reply.
