After years of trying to hang bags on Command hooks, the gear shift, etc., I finally gave in and bought this. With my year-round allergies, I at least have a few tissues to throw out every time I’m in the car, and I’m usually by myself, so I hooked it up to be on the front of the passenger seat. When someone is going to sit there, it’s easy to swing it around to the back. I have also found it handy when I’m getting more than the two coffees that fit in my cup holder, as I keep a bag in the garbage to keep it cleaner. I loop the strap through the bag handles so it stays in place, but takes just a second to unclip and toss if the bag gets yucky. The garbage itself is also handy to pop things in that I need as I’m out running errands, like things to mail and forms to take into the doctor’s office. Honestly, what more could you want from a car garbage? It’s a great size, easy to hook on and take off, works anywhere in the car, is lined so if things spill, cleanup is easy, it’s sturdy enough to hold a few DD coffees, and it was very affordable. Oh, and I paid full price and don’t get anything from writing a review- I just really like it and wanted to pass that along.

Works great inside of bag looks like a freezer bag. It is water proof and is easy to empty and clean. The size is perfect to hand on back of passenger seat of my truck.

Convenient, neat, and tidy. Closing velcro at the top, helps keep trash inside. Glad I purchased it! It's also sturdy and easy to intall!

I ordered this to go in my van, but unfortunately the straps would not fit around its seats so I ended up buying another one for my van and moving this one into my car. If your car doesn't have removeable headrests, this probably won't work for you.The bag is smaller than it looks in pictures. It resembles an insulated lunch bag, and is about the same size. The top uses Velcro to remain closed and has a wire around the top that helps hold its shape. The outside pockets are convenient and mine are full of napkins, extra plastic silverware I received from restaurants, and random hot sauce pockets.The inside of the bag is indeed waterproof. I put several cans of soda in the bag and it didn't leak. Then I went to empty the bag and got old soda all over myself. And now the inside of the bag is sticky and paper goods stick to it. With this bag comes many first world problems.My only other complaint is that at least in my car, the bag hangs directly in the lap of anyone who happens to be sitting behind it. My front seats are scooted all the way back and so whoever's in the back seat can look down and look into this trash bag. Whenever friends get in the back seat I remove this bag. That's usually a good time to empty it.At the end of the day, the bag hands on my passenger seat and provides a convenient place to put trash instead of in the floor or the passenger seat.

Perfect for an expensive SUV which does not have large enough cupholders in the doors and in the back armrest to hold anything but a bottle. So now I have to put it in the wastebasket attached to my console thanks to this item

I have always hated using grocery store bags as mini trash cans in my vehicles. I found this and now own two of them. They are perfect for placing trash in. They do NOT leak and keep all the garbage in a small leakproof bin. I like that you can place it on the back of the headrest and reach it while driving. It also has an excellent velcro section to close it up when not in use. If you are considering getting something like this, do it. You won't regret it!

I like okay, but the Velcro isn’t strong so it comes open all the time.
