We really enjoy this timer - the digits are just brilliant - bright, really big and so clear - just what you need when you want to glance at time remaining from a distance. Particularly love the way you turn the outer casing to dial the time up or down - really easy to operate. Very useful having a fast dial and, when you slow down, it goes up in 5 second increments. That's great as you don't have to spend ages dialling times up and down. The magnet is good - stays on the side of our fridge very well. Sometimes the whole device rotates a bit when you are dialling time up or down which wouldn't happen if the magnet was even stronger. But to be honest that's a minor concern, and it's the right amount of magnetism to just gently straighten it if you have made it rotate a bit. I also really like the design - very clean lines - a beautiful simplicity. We chose white rim partly because it enhances the design aesthetic in our view, but also because it will be easier to see when one has made it bit grubby which then means you are more likely to ensure it remains hygienic with an occasional wipe-down. That seems important in a kitchen. Overall, absolutely great - highly recommended.

I love the simplicity of this. It scores on all fronts. It has big, bold digits and loud beeping alarm, and it’s really easy to set the timer. Touch the front button to bring it to life. Keep it pressed to zero the display, turn the outer casing to set the time and press the button to start the countdown. That’s all you need to know. I can’t comment on the battery life (3x AAA required by the way) or how durable it will be, but so far I’m really impressed. The timer is best attached to a metal surface using the strong integrated magnets on the back of the casing… so for most people that’s likely to be the fridge freezer. Sometimes a piece of design really impresses even though it’s simple.

The readout is clear and easy to see from a distance. However, it doesn't suit our kitchen as there's nowhere metal to fix it to from where we can easily see it. Setting it on the worktops doesn't work as we have to faff around trying to stop it rolling around. A good product, but not for us.

Magnetic strength is sufficient, easy to use. I see some users were having issues turning the bezel...to set it..just grip it lightly inside..between thumb and finger and it will rotate easily to set your desired countdown time. I like the led display, its a good feature, it's nice and bright and clear. Seems reasonable quality. I may post a video of use at some stage I hope it has a reasonable battery life.

This works wonderfully, big display that's easy to see and a nice feel to the dial. It stays perfectly level, the magnets are perfect.

Needed a replacement as I might have dropped the old one!!!!! (now in many bits in the bin)This replacement timer works great - nice and easy to use and the magnetic mounts are very strong. Perfect!

Very nice would love a matel version

I tested out 4 timers to pick my favourite and this had a noticeably nicer screen than the others. The matte black sleek design looks really neat on my desk and this one even has an orange indicator light on the screen which isn't necessary but I think looked niiiiiice and set it apart from the rest.But what let this timer down was how the dial used to set the timer was so stiff.When turning the dial you would have to hold it down otherwise the whole thing would turn with it. the other timers you could set with one hand and were convenient to adjust. I get how you want their to be some resistance to the dial and some 'damping' to make it feel more premium but this wasn't that. It was just stiff and consequentially annoying so I had to return it in the end.Another slight drawback was that this timer did not come with batteries included which all the other ones did, even cheaper ones.You will need 3 x AAAs to power it.
