We bought these to add to the original ones that came with the fire pit. We’ve used it twice now and several off these stones have exploded sending sharp pieces of glass onto our deck. We know it’s these stones because they are a different shade of blue than the dark blue that came with the fire pit. They’re beautiful and they weren’t wet-which we made sure of before adding to the fire pit. I’m now looking for a screen to cover the pit because I’m to frightened to sit next to it.

Good size and good color for the fire pit. There are enough in one container for a really nice add of color to the fire pit with the original lava rock.

I purchased these stones to supplement the stones that came with the fire table I purchased. These stones are large, smooth, and have a very nice shimmer to them. According to the directions, they are also washable and can be reused if they get less shimmery. If I ever decide I want a change in color, I will definitely purchase this brand again.

I like the style and color of these but found that some of them will pop and explode under heat in my propane fire pit leaving some sharp glass shards outside the fire.
