Knives 4 starsThis set of 12 knives, scissors, knife sharpener and knife block arrived in good condition. There are 6 steak knives, a chef’s knife, a Santoku knife, a slicing knife, a bread knife, a utility knife and a paring knife.The knives, knife sharpener and scissors have black plastic handles and the stainless steel knife blades are coated in carbon so the knives look quite unusual being all black in colour. The knives arrived ready sharpened and they are very sharp so, be careful unpacking and using them!To wash the knives, it is recommended that you don’t use very strong detergent so as not to damage the coating on the blades. I have washed them in warm soapy water rather than in the dishwasher and they clean up very well.The handles of the knives and sharpener are lightweight and comfortable to hold and designed so that you can get a good grip on them.The knife block is made of wood and finished off in a black coating - the only gripe I have is that the finishing is not the best I have seen. There are places where you can see the surface underneath and although you can’t see them so much from afar when the knives are in the block, you can when you’re using them.Priced at just under £50 at the time of writing this review, I do think this set of knives is a good deal - it’s not too expensive and you really have all the knives you’re likely to need on a day to day basis.

Sono bellissimi, il vano forbici però è un po'troppo a ridosso dei coltelli sottostanti e se ci si inseriscono le forbici si sovrappongono
