To any potential buyers, be warned, this is cheap rubbish and you should steer well clear.I bought this wall mounted netball hoop for my wife so she can practise shooting, without the hassle of a post blocking the driveway.I was happy paying ‘over the odds’ to go with a recognised worldwide brand like Gilbert, as my past experience has always been “you get what you pay for”. However, this product has single handedly changed that view.Firstly, the fixings supplied with it weren’t fit for putting up a small shelf. The screws and plugs were extremely poor quality, so I had to go out and purchase some separately.Once erected, the first one of these hoops lasted less than a week or light usage before the weld fixing the hoop to the bracket snapped. I was sure it must have been a ‘one off’ faulty unit, so I contacted Amazon and, to be fair to them, a replacement was arranged swiftly.The second hoop also lasted about a week (again only light use… equivalent to a few hours of shooting practise), before the welding snapped in exactly the same place.At this point I took the broken hoop to a professional to pay to have it re-welded properly. They advised that the steel of the hoop was wafer thin and extremely cheap. they also pointed out evidence of several failed attempts at the faulty weld by the manufacturer. This is apparently what happens when you try to weld wafer thin steel to much thicker steel (as is the case here with ring and bracket).I have officially given up on this sorry excuse for a hoop and now sourced a new ring from a British company based in Birmingham, which has been properly engineered and comes with a suitable guarantee.

The media could not be loaded. Really disappointed with this so called hoop. This is what it looks like after ONLY 10 WEEKS... The net has never stayed in the right place but the kids where fine with that. But as you see the actual METAL HAS SNAPPED AND CAME APART today. It is definitely NOT USEABLE now.. Luckily it did not completely come down on top of my kids. Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this net... My last net lasted 5 years and only got replaced because of rust but this one is appalling.

Great for when our granddaughters visit as it is ready to use but out of the way (grandma likes to use it too!) Good value for the price too.

Netball ring and ball are fine, but the included pump is defective. The small brass insert at the end of the pump keeps falling out and therefore the pump is impossible to use. We would have returned the pump if the situation in the country was normal.

As advertised and arrived very quickly. All good quality.

Only bought this in May this year for my daughter and when she was playing hoops with the ball it juat snapped off,barley 2 months old not happy a waste of £43.
