Decent fish, my dad loves these, he gently fryโs them with a little butter, he has never once complained about taste, texture, bones etc, if heโs happy itโs worth it.

These Port of Lancaster Smoked Kipper Fillets are Tasty, traditionally Smoked, not Coloured as some others are, not too Salty, No Bones, if there are any they are at the Top Fin, and not hard, and easy to take out. Place the Fillets in a Large Pan with Water which is brought to the Simmer, lift the Fillets out, smear Butter over, keep in Oven, serve with New or Baked Potato`s and a Salad. Good value, we but a 4kg pack and freeze, Excellent.

Perfect kippers
Kippers are always large and extremely well packed delivery is good and the filleted ones are great for those who donโt like bones thank you

Beautiful smoked kippers.
I am writing to say how much I enjoyed the taste of Port Lancashire smoked kippers. I placed mine in a 2-litre jug of hot water for 5 minutes, and added hot pepper sauce and mixed herbs. They tasted succulent, moist and full of flavour. Congratulations to them for producing such a splendid product. I will definitely be ordering again.

False Advertising/ Health and Safety.
WARNING...I bought these based on the description. Product description 2kg box- perfect for the freezer! For those of you who love kippers but hate the bones. I choked on these, full of bones. Be very careful. I am shocked at this seller.

Excellent product and service.
Arrived swiftly ice packed by courier. These are much bigger than the tiddlers you get in supermarkets. So much so that the first time I cooked a pair I was stuffed! They are a bit on the salty side, more chewy than supermarket kippers but superior taste. Second time I tried them I poached one in a little water, taking the advice of a previous reviewer. This reduced the salt but didn't detract from the flavour. I would recommend these highly and will buy again. I'll also look at their other produce.
