What is the shelf life of this detergent?

I haven't ever has a detergent go bad on me....to my knowledge this does not spoil. I have 2 unopened bottles and not afraid they will go bad before I can use them. I also have an opened one I've been using for several months now...

Is diluting with water recommended (to make it last)??

I use nonsent detergent and mix my diva in it to go longer, also you can dilute with water in a spray bottle and use it around your house!

How can the scent be a natural ingredient? It does not smell natural. Are there essential oils in it?

To be honest, I couldn't find if it had essential oils. This is what I could find; Ingredients : Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, Sodium Methyl 2-Sulfolaurate (and) Disodium 2-Sulfolaurate, Glyceryl Caprylate/Caprate, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Sorbate, Orange Oil.
