First of all it’s not stable and it moves about all over the place probably because it’s top heavy. The “neck” part is far too long. Secondly the overall thing is heavy and very cumbersome it’s difficult to clean as well. It’s really hard to get in between the raised fish in the bowl to clean it; and thirdly there’s holes in the base so you can’t really immerse in water unless you wanna spend time afterwards trying to get the water out from inside the base. Bad design and overpriced. I think this will probably end up in the shed with my other stuff thats not used.

I had purchased ceramic cat bowls from this company before, that were smooth, and set up to control their eating by the angle of 15%, and the height. I have 2 cats, last time I ordered different colors, just because they were available. ;)These bowls, both before and now, are good for cats, nice height to them, had the right angle for proper eating so they could eat without getting air inside , and were less prone to vomit The bowls are shallow enough so their whiskers stay out it, which cats, especially flat faced cats, do not like..Of course they are ceramic, the best material for bowls for cats, it won’t give them “ dirty chin, or black chin “, which is basically black heads on their chins. Plastic bowls will do that.The only downside to this particular model, is on the bottom, (see second picture) there are only holes for drainage of water, when you wash them in the dishwasher. So there’s nothing to really grab onto, unlike previous ones. So unfortunately, I dropped one of mine before we could even use it! ;( One cat is using the older one, while the other gets this one. The one that gets daily medication, obviously. And she’s quite adept at pocketing the pill and spitting it out later, the brat!All in all, I love the brand, and these bowls. I was looking for a ceramic bowl that had the slow feeding features, and was happy to find that my favorite company now made them. If I could stop dropping them, that would be great. So far, 3 have shattered, though technically 1️⃣ is the cat’s fault. He walked by it, and it was in his way. It was a different brand, so maybe he didn’t like it. I bought it before I found this brand.The company makes great cat products, though I have never had to talk to them. Can’t blame them for my clumsiness, though the last one from this order fell right out of the box, because I couldn’t grab it in time.I hope they will reconsider changing the bottom of the bowls on their next production line.I highly recommend this product!

This bowl is heavy duty. Excellent quality! My cat suffers from digestion issues and this feeder has helped him a great deal. It is about 6 inches in height and very easy to clean. This has been a great buy and I definitelywill purchase again.

Very high quality and well made…but my fatso dump-truck food goblin Kitty can still eat rather quickly out of this. At least he’s not vomiting from eating too fast anymore! I’m keeping this one around while I look for a sturdy puzzle-feeder that will make him use his big ol’ brain a bit more.

This is higher than the tilt bowl my kitty had before & therefore more effective for her feeding habits & neck alignment. It's pretty, clean & easy to keep clean (love the white ceramic) & she seems to enjoy the puzzle aspect. Its a winner!.

Only had it for a few days and my cat knocked it over and the ceramic shattered. Otherwise it worked well at slowing my cat down. If you get one make sure you put it somewhere if it topples it won't break.
