First impressions of the torch itself are excellent, but let down by a couple of details, albeit minor ones.
The light itself is built to a high standard, it's just a pity that the lead-based switch let the whole unit down. The switch itself is flat, with no supplied means of attachment to the gun or rifle (Velcro, double-sided, etc), neither are any instructions supplied. When the batteries are inserted into the charger, lights on the charger indicate battery charge (red - needs charging, blue - fully charged). The charger (supplied with UK mains plug) runs cool to the touch. The photos do not give much idea as to 'actual' size, but the batteries (each 3.7V, 2000mAh) are some 70mm long and 19mm in diameter (hence far bigger than a AA!) and are inserted into the light + end first.Light itself is slightly blue, with a good range of adjustment on the focus from flood (lens fully retracted) to spot (lens fully forward). As far as light intensity is concerned, when the focus is spotted and the torch directed skyward, the beam can clearly be seen, stopping on the underside of clouds; so clearly reasonably bright!!

Great product!
This product is the complete package and for a fantastic price!Full metal robust build that does everything it says on the tin. I've struggled to find a pressure switch that actually work and the one with this does very well. Would be good to be able to choose which of the 5 function to use as oppose to cycling through til you reach the one you want. But, you cant have everything!Great value.

Good quality but does not fit!
I bought this product based on the reviews and answered questions. I don't have a problem with the quality of the product. It appears well made and is robust with a very bright light. However, the main problem I have is that using the supplied mount the torch will not fit my Hawke Vantage scope. One of the answered questions states that the torch will fit a Hawke Vantage 3-9x50 scope. IT WILL NOT !! The diameter of the front bellhousing for the 50 mm objective lens does not permit the torch to sit correctly in the supplied mount, which needs to be around 10mm longer between the scope tube centre and the torch tube centre for this model scope. Nevertheless I am keeping the torch and will source a longer mount. NOTE - I have a rifle fitted with a scope which has a 40mm objective lens, it fits this ok. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Although the torch front bellhousing sits partially behind the 50mm scope front bellhousing I have found the torch is so powerful, despite it sitting partially behind the scope, the light emitted illuminates the target clearly. I can recommend this as a very good product suitable for lamping.

This can be removed easily. The beem can be focused but focus in ...
Very bright torch. Light and feels well constructed. The charger comes with no instructions but from using it red Led's mean charging Blue led's mean charged. The remote switch's are just covered with heat shrink, but work well. The mount provided for lamping is for scopes with a 25mm/1" tube. The torch cycles through five settings every time its switched on. These are 1 Fully Bright, 2 Less Bright, 3 Even less bright, 4 Fast Sos flashes. 5 slow SOS flashes. If your lamping you will need to remember this as at the 4th activation it will start giving fast SOS flashes rather than a constant light if you dont cycle through them. Two end caps are provided, 1 with remote switches for lamping and 1 with a standard push button for use as a standard torch. A belt clip is also provided. This can be removed easily. The beem can be focused but focus in to much and the LEDs can be seen.

Fantastic bit of kit!
Silly bright! Really is as effective as the pictures and description have! Fantastic torch for what I needed it for. However if being used to mount to a rifle check your scope alignment knobs as where I wanted to mount it, the torch was too wide however it works just as well on the side! The extended switch for rifle mounting comes in handy too! Well worth its money! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a tool box torch or to mount too their rifle.

How many Lumens - Maketheone Tactical XML T6 LED Torch
I wasn't expecting much for £19.99 even though most reviews are favourable, the quality of the torch is good for the money and the accessories it comes with, but no way is this 1000 or 2000 lumens, more like 100 to 200 lumens at best, it is slightly brighter than a 100 lumen torch that I have, but my 680 lumen torch completely oblitorates this thing, I doubt very much if this thing has a genuine Cree T6 LED or is that a Cr-ee ?? another case of mis-leadling advertising and cheap chinees copy, if you really want a 1000 or 2000 lumen torch then the only way is pay proper money for a genuine Band Name item. I only wanted this for back garden rating etc, and for that is ok, but don't expext to go hunting at 100 meters with this. If this was really was 2000 lumens then it would be 5 stars and a bargain, but can only give 3 at best. The supplied batteries took 3 hours to charge out of the box.
