Great for running in the dark!
I bought this to help with my marathon training. I hate running on the treadmill, but it was hard fitting my long runs into the week without running in the dark. Before I had a small flashlight and cars could barely see me running down the road. It was very dangerous. This vest was a game changer. I was no longer worried about being seen by cars, because I lit up the road. It is super easy to use and charge. It's not overly heavy. Its a great product for someone trying to be seen in the darkness.

Great safety harness
This is great. Fits like a harness. It's not bulky, or hot. Flashes multiple colors. Great for runners, bikers, walking etc

Probably the best option for visibility while running, with some small drawbacks
I run early in the morning--most of the year, it's dark for most or all of my run. Naturally, I want to be as visible as possible. I have tried many solutions over the years, and this is probably the most satisfactory so far. The lights on the front and back are high visibility to others, but don't expect them to light the path in front of you. (To see oncoming hazards, you'll want a headlamp or a flashlight). The front and rear lights have the same options--you cycle through the colors (most of the rainbow) by pushing the button under the light you want to change. Some colors you have the choice to leave solid or flash, and there is a setting that cycles quickly through all the colors like a disco floor or something. The default option is white, which I use for the front light. For the back, I use the solid red, which is about 9 presses. To turn them off, you must press the button until you cycle through all the options. This is annoying for the front, which requires me to push the button about 12 times.A benefit of these straps is they charge via USB-c ports, which is one of the reasons I bought this set. A drawback is that the charging port is awkwardly placed and often hard to find. When you do find it, you have to wiggle the cable around to plug it in, which kind of negates the whole point of USB-c. The charging cable is actually a double cable. The charging end is USB-A (the old style, rectangular port that only plugs in one way) and the other side splits into two USB-c cables, one for each charging port. There is a very tiny light that shows the charging status of each port, and I mean TINY. You have to pull the fabric out of the way to really see it, and the room has to be almost completely dark. It's easiest to just plug this thing in after a run and leave it overnight so you don't even have to monitor it. A full charge lasts me about a week of running (about 4 hours worth). Not great, but fine for my purposes. The straps fit pretty well and are generally easier to buckle than other pairs I've had. I highly recommend keeping one side permanently buckled, and then remembering which way to put these over your head so the open buckle winds up on the side you need it to.

Good vest
Bought this vest for nighttime walks/runs. Just to keep some light on me when it gets dark so early.

Visibility perfect
Easy to put on and perfect for cycling. Better than a full vest especially for hot weather.

Very useful. Recommended!
Definitely a cheap, must-have item for walks after dark or early mornings when visibility is low and the headlights are on.Even though the battery life is short, the good news is that it is super extra reflective and the reflecting tape far outshines the lights (front and back lights with several colors and flash modes). I almost never have the lights on. And yes, you do not have to cycle through all the light colors and modes to power it off. Just hold the switch down for three seconds and it will power off.Why the four stars, you ask? Well, for sure the battery life is short, also as someone else mentioned the Y that it makes from the chest to the shoulders is too wide and keeps falling g off to the shoulders snd it can get annoying in the summer when you donโt have extra layers of clothing and outerwear for it to be snug. Unless you are of a large build, you will experience this issue. Regardless, as my subject line says, it is very useful and everyone should use them when it is dark out, and I definitely recommend this brand / model ๐๐ผ
