The batteries last for hours and sound quality is really good with a well balanced bass effect. Small neat and portable but loud enough for a large party. Remote control app works well on my phone although you don’t need it all the time. Great for use as a speaker phone for groups or meetings. The best feature, buy two and you can pair them for stereo! Tiny bit fiddly to set up stereo but well worth it and the manual is a good help. Once set up they stay set up and just work. Not supplied with a charger but standard USB power chargers are all you need. They do take a long time (hours) to fully charge but that suggests batteries will have a long life. Definitely recommend this price.

Bought to replace an almost prehistoric Tesco Bluetooth speaker; I believe it the same used by the Byzantine empire.This this is loud. Much louder than I expected, which I guess will mean less battery use and longer play time. The levels seem to be good too, highs aren't drowned out and the mids are clear and full. Then there is the bass.The bass is silly. A silly amount of bass. The speaker when not placed on a solid surface will try to wander off. Nice.I've not had to charge it yet, so I can't comment of battery life yet - I'll edit this review at a later date.The build quality is very good, although plastic, it feels really solid and as if it can take it bit of roughness. Although it seems tough I do suspect a carry case will be very much needed.For £30 something it is a bargain for how well it performs, and absolute night and day comparison to my old hamster powered tesco speaker.If your budget allows, the next model up is a good option also, but for the money this is too good to pass.Also:Apparently you can connect two of these together for stereo sound, I can't confirm this but apparently it's possible.

The Sony SRS-XB100 is an outstanding value for under £30. Despite its compact size, it delivers the quality sound output you'd expect from Sony — more than enough volume for personal use.I picked it up primarily for bath time, exercise sessions, and meditation, and it suits all three perfectly. The speaker itself feels reassuringly sturdy, and the handy carry strap makes it easy to attach to a backpack, rail, or bag for on-the-go use. The IP67 water and dustproof rating means I don't have to worry about splashes or being caught in the rain — a genuine peace of mind for everyday use.Pairing via Bluetooth to my iPhone 17 Pro was seamless and instant. I've yet to try the call function, but so far I'm thoroughly impressed with this little speaker. A fantastic buy at the price.

Knowing the quality of the Sony speaker, we use four of the larger XB23 in quad in the do-jo, an converted old, high vaulted carpet wearhouse and, never have them on full, I decided to buy the smaller XB100 for home.Exceptionally easy to connect either by the Sony music app (free of charge) or directly via your phone's bluetooth setting.Sound:Audio books: Crisp and clear.Music: well balanced with a good bass. I'm not going to get all pretentious about mid and treble sounds, this is a small speaker and if you really think your 'ear' can't cope with the in-built balance you can use the equaliser in the app or buy a professional ridiculously expensive speaker and probably have the same quality and sound output as the XB100.Volume:Clear and audible for the spoken word.Music half volume could easy be heard around my three bedroom house and is probably a bit too loud when in the same room, but easy to turn down. On three quarters volume any conversations in the same room as the speaker will need to be shouted. On full volume you'll probably not be trying to have a conversation as you'll be too busy trying to think. I tried it at maximum volume for a couple of minutes, maybe my choice of music, AC/DC, but after turning it of my ears started to ring and they're still ringing now five minutes later. If you really need to blow every brain cell out of your head, you're back to that option of buying a professional ridiculously expensive speaker.This little speaker is an excellent buy, value for money. I just wished I'd brought one before.So impressed with this speaker, I've brought a second one (took all of twenty-four hours to decide to do that), to play them in stereo. (Volume definitely adjusted lower.) Easy to pair and sound absolutely awesome.

Overall this is an incredible speaker. Lightweight, small, no distortion that I’ve noticed. Great colour choices. VERY easy buttons and connectivity, to an iPhone which makes using it a real joy. Feels nice in the hand, and I think it’s going to be pretty decently durable - but I wouldn’t go throwing this on rocks to be honest, it’s more like light falls on grass etc which will be no problem.Superb battery! And even shows up within iPhone Bluetooth widget which is a perk.The only let down was that it isn’t going to allow you to boom music, it will fill your bedroom nicely with sound but no further.I got it in the sale for £30 which I feel is a good deal.. note it has been seen for slightly less than that, like £28 I believe.In a nutshell, I recommend it and I don’t have any regrets.

“Edit’” I had to come back and update my review. Honestly I’ve had it for a day and I can honestly say it’s absolutely Amasing! The speaker is just perfect for my needs. It comes with me everywhere I go.I really like this speaker. It produces clear sound with a decent amount of bass for its compact size. It’s not incredibly loud, but it’s perfect for listening to music on the go without having to carry a bulky speaker.

This is the first portable, bluetooth speaker that I have bought and it is excellent, I am very impressed.I wanted a speaker for indoor use only to play podcasts, live radio and music. The smaller the better.Inside the box is the speaker which has a strap already attached. There is also a charging cable and user guide. I began by charging the speaker which took around 2 hours.The speaker is small, well designed with controls along the side for power, bluetooth connection / pairing, hands free and volume.I turned on the speaker, then turned on my mobile bluetooth, initiating the pairing function and it found the Sony XB100 very quickly so I was able to pair the devices easily. The speaker does have a pairing button so if your device has an issue finding the speaker or connecting this may help with that.Playing a podcast and altering the volume I was impressed with the level it reaches. More than enough for indoor use. With music again there is more than enough volume and the quality is excellent with a decent bass level emitting from the speaker. The level of bass will vary depending on the type of surface used.Some reviews I read prior to purchase criticised the lack of volume however I am more than happy with the output when using indoors and I do not even have it at full.Sony states the battery being 16 hours usage however this will lessen based on the volume output. When the battery level is at 40% a small orange light flashes to warn you that the battery will require charging.The speaker also offers hands free use for mobile calls as it has a built in mic. I haven't used this yet and may never do so cannot comment.You can also purchase a second speaker and link them so that you experience a stereo effect. The speaker has an IP67 rating which means it is also waterproof and dustproof so using it in the shower / bathroom or when outside in certain environments it is well protected.If you are looking for a stylish, high quality, portable, bluetooth speaker I can definitely recommend the Sony XB100.**Since this review was posted I have purchased a second speaker so that I can link the two and experience stereo sound.You turn both speakers on. Then press the pairing button down for around 2 seconds on one speaker and a white light will be displayed under the button. Then repeat this on the second speaker.Once paired the first speaker announces it is the left then the second paired speaker announces it is the right.Together they sound great, at night when in bed I have both speakers sat on the frame just above and behind my head whilst streaming TV or film and they really do enhance the audio experience.When you have finished using them if you power off one speaker it automatically turns off the other paired speaker.

Très bien conçu sur le plan de la communication et des commandes toutes bien visibles et distinctes. Esthétique. Le son est un peu coloré vers des basses moins hirminieuses que pour des enceintes plus grandes. Excellent rapport prix /qualité.

Veramente entusiasta per questa cassa acustica Bluetooth.Nonostante le sue piccole dimensioni suona veramente bene, bassi profondi e suono ben definito, sempre nei limiti fisici della cassa stessa si tratta comunque di una cassa portatile.Rivestita da materiale siliconico piacevole al tatto, sotto ha un anello antiscivolo per evitare si sposti sul piano di appoggio.Si aggancia velocemente al telefono e funziona anche da vivavoce in caso di chiamata telefonica con un'ottima qualità grazie alla tecnologia che abbatte l'eco.Il volume va bene, non è potentissima, ma per un uso normale è più che sufficiente.Dotata di una piccola cinghia che permette di appenderla ovunque.In dotazione un cavo USB / C.Io ne consiglierei l'acquisto assolutamente
