Audubon Birds Great Horned Owl with Authentic Bird Sound, Stuffed Animal, Bird Toys for Kids and Birders

Got it for my granddaughter, it's exceptionally soft and has a true owl call, although it's a bit quite, you can hear it, I would like it a bit louder but my wife said you don't want to frighten her in the middle of the night,so I guess the volume is acceptable.

"Hooty", paired with Nat Geo "Owls" book displaced Frozen 2 as favorite! Hooty, the Great Horned Owl, sits on the back of the sofa, looking out the window when not being actively played with. Plush owl has excellent detail, including markings and ear tufts. Sound was a little muffled, but that may be a blessing in disguise. Toddler enjoys carrying soft cuddly plush animal. It also fits well under arm as crib lovey at nap time. The Nat Geo "Owls" pre-reader book goes well with this plush toy and makes great gift set. Highly recommend for long lasting play value and scientific accuracy.

Small and less attractive than the product photo.It arrived right on the birthday of the child and I gave it to him without checking it.And surprise:it doesn't make any sounds, there's no owl sound at all .Disappointing. I'm not returning it because the little boy wouldn't understand if I asked him to.

My fascination with owl started when I was a kid i’ve always wanted a stuffed owl of my own and when I saw this, I knew I had to have it. I purchased this about a couple months ago. after my wife, divorced me and I was feeling very lonely . every night I take Mr.tootsiepop to bed his soft fur against my face is comforting as he whispers in my ear how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop he gets halfway through the number before I gently fall asleep 5 stars would definitely buy him again

Great item for those who love owls. I use this for dementia patients who love owls. Very entertaining!

This is a great idea to have the bird and have the capability to hear the sound the bird makes. However, for the Great Horned Owl, the sound is so soft it can barely be heard. It may be a bird that makes soft sounds, but it should be loud enough you don't have to put it to your ear to hear it well. I ordered a second one in hope that it would be louder, but it was not really any louder than the first one I received. I hope my grandson is not too disappointed.

I was looking forward receiving this item since my daughter loves owls. Upon arrival I immediately saw that there was manufacturer default, one ear was way longer than the other one and was sew over. The owl sound didnt work either. Pretty decepointed since i bought a couple of those birds in the past but this one was not worth it
