I am a person who relies on reviews so I hope this helps you and your decision on your purchase of a weighted blanket. I take this seriously which is pretty ridiculous since this is just a blanket but I think when you are spending more than $50 for something you better be getting something that will be worth it, right?Short version of this review:-It is GREAT, get it if you want/need a weighted blanket.-Go a size up if you want something a little larger or get the exact thing if you don't really care.-It does what it says it would do BUT it will take time so don't expect results on the first night (help you sleep better and whatnot) .-Good quality (no tears) and it comes from a good company I guess.-It's NOT SUPER soft but I honestly love that as a personal thing I like cotton fabric or fabric that has a less of a chance to get static (if that makes sense I think polyester blankets pretty mixed they are bad for the environment and they can get static so this blanket is good).-Get it if you are comparing weighted blankets!-It can get warm, so spread it out on your bed and let it get cold.-GET THIS ONE.Long version: SO, this blanket is pretty solid let me explain; I wanted a blanket that was from someone reputable and would not send me something I did not purchase. I got exactly what I wanted and what I ordered. I thought weighted blankets are supposed to be very expensive but this one is reasonably priced and actually does what it says it should do.I am a college student who has anxiety, I started to lose sleep due to stuff happening in my life and school so my significant partner suggested I should get a weighted blanket because I at least should sleep a full set of hours and sleep well too.Pros:-SIZE/ORDER: you get what you order (color, size etc.) if you want a LARGE size you want to go a size up for whatever bed you have (i.e. if you have twin get a full, if you have queen get a king). if you want something just right then get the size of bed you have. I have a twin bed but I wanted something larger so I got a full (it was a little smaller than my expectation but once I started to sleep with it I was happy with what I chose, anything larger would probably weigh me down too much)-RATE OF FABRIC: so I rated this blanket for its softness like a 3/5 but I do that objectively. It is not a soft blanket, it is not made out of polyester ( plastic made to be soft) but personally I love this kind of fabric so when I got the blanket I was thankful it was not super soft fabric because I hate when I get static and I dislike how it feels. if you want it soft I'm pretty sure the company sells covers for the blanket so if you want to do that, go-ahead.-THE WEIGHT: the blanket is heavy and I love it. that's all I am going to say about the weight of the blanket in the pro's (follow the weight chart is you need to decide on which one to get) I got 15 pounds and it works for me, I weigh about 125 lbs (I am short person lol)-EFFECT/ITS "MAGIC": it does sort of what the company says it does, it will TAKE AWHILE for you to feel the effects, which the company acknowledges- so they are not lying to you but if you don't like it they say they will give your money back. Your body has to get used to the weight and the effect of it. At first, I did not like the blanket on me- my room got hot so the blanket grew warm and it just wanted something lighter (this was my intail disappointment) but the colder weather came along and it SO MUCH better. My recommendation, if you want the blanket to be cold for when you sleep I highly recommend to spread it on top of your bed and hopefully, your room is cold and can make the glass beads cold. Or if you have space and love the cold since it has glass beads I would put it in the fridge and take it out an hour before I sleep, I might do that in the summer.....-THE GLASS BEADS: you cant hear the glass beads unless you are super picky, I never heard them and they never bothered me, they are so small they are like the size of sand, people who say they are bothered by it- I have no idea what they are talking about unless the heavier blanket you get the bigger the beads are louder....??cons:-THE FABRIC: it does collect some lint and it pills (i think that's the correct term, but you can see in one of the photos what I mean) it just collects your hair and other fabric on to it but I honestly don't care so I'm good with it. If it bothers you a ton, just get a lint roller.-WARMTH: the blanket CAN get warm, I hate when blankets do this, my body gets wayyyyyyy too warm (my thighs and chest especially) so I was worried I wouldn't be even able to use the blanket bc of this. It did happen the first couple of nights and I could not sleep with it. (BUT spread the blanket out on your bed and it should get cold I'm assuming because the blanket has glass beads so they don't warm-up unless you warm it up)-EFFECT/ THE "MAGIC": the first couple of days, you won't feel like this blanket does anything, trust me some reviews will say they got better sleep instantly but after I used the blanket the first week, I still did not feel like I was sleeping better I thought I made a bad purchase but I kept reminding myself that the company said it would take about 21 days to feel the effects because you have to establish a habit of using this blanket so once I had it for about four weeks I decided to write this review ( i am sleeping better and longer which wasn't my thing before this blanket)SOME THINGS I AM SKEPTICAL TO THIS DAY: so I read some reviews that said it helped people with their dreams, I don't know how true that is- my dreams are better (.....?) after the blanket (I used to have nightmares A LOT) so I guess it has some validity but I would not EXPECT that and neither should you unless you truly feel it. Like I still have strange dreams that could pass off as nightmares but again I don't know how true that is because the whole dream comment is weird to me, but I mention it because you might come along those comments and wanted to let you know how true that REALLY IS....I do not know if the whole thing about sleeping 8 hours without waking up is a thing- I personally rarely sleep a full 8 hours (probably because I am in college) but I also think I just don't sleep that much so maybe this comment is not even applicable to you but I say be aware it might not provide that for you as we are different with our needs and wants. I sleep BETTER with the blanket but I don't know if I makes me sleep the full 8 hours, I still wake up at night to go use the restroom but it is really hard to get up so the blanket is making me sleep more but people who said they sleep the full amount I am still skeptical about that with the blanket because maybe my body is just different.ANYWAYs, I HOPE THIS HELPED YOU, good luck with your purchase and decision.

This is just great! I sleep much better with it and it feels nice and cozy and secure. I was pleasantly surprised that it doesn't seem to sleep that hot either. Not any hotter that I can tell from my light weight down comforter and in fact may sleep even cooler.This helps prevent you from moving around so much as you sleep which is really helpful to my sleep.I use a full size cotton duvet cover over this to make it last longer and not get dirty as fast and any full size duvet cover fits the Queen size Luna blanket perfectly.Note, do size up! I have a full size bed and went with the Queen size Luna and it fits the bed perfect.

Delivery after 3 weeks, 2 delays. Package dropped off while we were out of town. Neighbor brought it over about a week after it was delivered and left during heavy rains. Amazon was great and had refunded due to the extremely complex delivery issues. The blanket DOES NOT make you hot, most others do. Very soft, no odor or smell present. The weight is perfect for a petite woman/preteen. An average size man may want to go up to the next weight. Blanket offers an easy compression like comfort feel, not heavy that you feel constrained. Highly recommend the blanket (referred friends and they didn’t have the delivery problems I did, so) I’d say order it!

Have had this on my bed for 3.5 years now. The material has held up great and is not showing any wear. It's not long enough to cover the feet and shoulders but works for the intended purpose. Really happy with this weighted blanket.

Ordered this blanket for my son. He absolutely loves it! The quality and weight is just right and so comfortable. Would highly recomment this product. One thing to know is that you may want to order a size larger - my son has a twin bed but I ordered a queen size and it fits perfect!

Very good blanket. I returned it because my husband felt claustrofobic sleeping under it. I ended up buying a smaller size that is just for me. Otherwise, the product is awesome.

Ive suffered from GAD, general anxiety disorder, and Panic Attacks, since 2003, so a long time. Largely I have had this under control for several years through a variety of tools. CBD capsules, yoga, diet, exercise and lots more.One key component I know is super important is sleep. Good sleep. If I have poor sleep for several days on the run I can feel the effects markedly. Having a routine is especially important for me. A month ago I moved to a rotating shift pattern, 6am to 2pm one week followed by 2pm to 10pm the next.This really threw my consistent in bed for 10 routine out of sync. I would be getting into bed at 12 midnight when on lates at the earliest and struggling to adapt to the early shift the following week.I have read about weighted blankets before and having read so many reviews for this particular product I decided to take the plunge, with some degree of cynicism. I couldn't have been more wrong!The Good -The blanket is heavy. I plumped for the 9kg Queen version. I weigh around 90kg so this was the advised weight.I was a little concerned at how heavy it actually is but I needn't have worried. Once it's in place on your bed and you sneak under it it's akin to being hugged is the best analogy I can give.It's soft. You cannot feel the tiny glass beads inside, nor can I hear them rattling, they are just there. The blanket moulds to your form and the cover is as said surprisingly soft.The blanket is well stitched. After two weeks of use there are no plucks pulls or mistitching evident to my inspection. Plus no leaking beads.As per the picture the Queen size is big. It almost fits across our King Sized bed.It works. It really does work.From night one of using this I have noticed a much faster drift to sleep. In the past at the end of a late shift even if in bed for 12 I would still be reading or on my phone for an hour sometimes more. No longer.I am out like Muhammed Ali's light switch each and every night. Regardless of how tired I am or I am not. This blanket sends me to slumber so fast. My wife has noticed it, I have felt it and recorded it each morning. And it's been a revelation.I still wake through the night as I always have done and imagine I always will, however I am drifting off much much faster and its not placebo, there's clearly something at work here.Since using this it's really turned my sleep routine on its head again, in a positive way. I cannot explain why it works but it makes me drift away to lala land in moments. Fantastic.I love its effect!The could be better -If I had one minor comment it would be that there doesn't seem to be any options for a smaller size with a heavy weight. This means that because my wife is not a part time insomniac like me she's a bit perturbed at having so much blanket on the bed do I do scrunch it up so as to try and cover just myself.The same weight in a smaller size would be truly amazing.As it is this is a fantastic product. It has changed my night times immeasurably, I am certain it's contributing to my overall routine to thwart my GAD and Panic attacks. And it looks great I think too!You might not know you need one of these blankets, but try it and you soon will.Absolutely recommended.Five Stars.

Will update this review as I use the blanket more.I got my Luna blanket last night right before I was about to go to bed (perfect timing), along with a duvet cover as well. I was looking for a blanket that still had some weight to it, but wouldn't cause me to immediately overheat. Right out of the bags, nothing smelled like plastic and I didn't have to air it out which I was really excited about as I wanted to try it out right away. The weight is perfect for me (I ordered a 10lb blanket and weigh 140lbs at 5'4) as I didn't feel like I couldn't move and wasn't overheating right away like I usually do with the down quilt I was using previously. I wish the duvet cover was just a touch softer, but I also prefer to sleep without pajamas so that's just my personal comfort preference. Overall, I really like the cotton material used for both the quilt, and the duvet cover as it does feel breathable. The navy colour is nice, not really my style but was the only one really available - will definitely be ordering another duvet cover in a more fun colour or pattern. It was really easy to tie the loops inside of the cover to the quilt, and I love that the zipper is hidden so well.FIRST NIGHT:Waking up I immediately noticed I wasn't sweating like I usually am from my down-filled blanket, which seriously impressed me as I get extremely hot when sleeping - I didn't have pajamas for this first night as I wanted to see if it would keep me cool. I will admit that I was skeptical about the cooling aspect of this blanket, but the first night it seems to have been great for keeping me from sweating. I absolutely love how I didn't get tangled in the duvet cover because of the secure loops inside, unlike my other blanket. I also woke up feeling slightly more rested than usual if I sleep less than 8 hrs, which was a nice little bonus I wasn't really expecting.THIRD NIGHT:For the last two nights I've purposely fallen asleep wearing sweatpants and a sweater to see if I would wake up sweating, and I must say WOW. I didn't wake up sweating, or overheating at all in the morning or throughout the night. I absolutely love how the blanket feels heavy, but not overly constricting and I can move around comfortably. Overall, I have nothing but positives to say about this quilt (and the duvet cover) and I am definitely happy with my purchase! I look forward to going to bed even more now every night.Will update again after a month's use!

I love this blanket, it's brilliant and quite big. I only knocked a star off as my partner got one from a different company and his is lovely and fleecy. It looks really nice whereas mine looks a bit industrial. Sometimes I put it inside the duvet so I can't see it. When I don't care, I just fire it over the duvet. If you want one that's functional and aesthetically pleasing, go for the fleecy one.

If You are Reading This You are propably considering to buy a weighted blanket. You might have a clue what to expect, or perhaps, you don't even think it would do anything. I was there too, and It will be my highest pleasure to tell you how THIS BLANKET CHANGED ME OVERNIGHT.My Mental State was a disaster, Too much Family Troubles, University , Job , Living Abroad and my Diagnosed Disorders. I thought a dumb blanket will do nothing about my feelings. I was avoiding it at all costs, thinking It would be waste of money, it wouldnt even help me fall asleep. And definitely wouldnt be comfortable. OH WAS I WRONG.When I was lying in bed and had the blanket on , I felt so warm , safe , calm. I am not able to describe the feeling I get but I oddly Like it. I use the blanket over a blanket so I do not even have a duvet. This way the blanket can go around my body tighter and mimic my body better. I was afraid that the blanket could cause sensory issues, but I have to admit this blanket gave me BEST SENSORY EXPERIENCE I could possibly get with money. However, the blanket had some filler on it and leftover sewing thread was also on some threaded pieces.

First purchased the 25lb version, it was very noticeably heavier, and the filling was more beadlike, did not like it as it felt too heavy which is unusual because I am larger (6' 240lbs). I share the bed with my wife, and sized up from queen so that the blanket would fully cover the bed like a normal duvet (sizes will always be a size down as you purchase to only cover the bed, otherwise it will slide off - note I did read that you should get a full size (size up based on their measurements) if you share the bed as it will not slide off then (it is being held on each side of the bed). This 20lb version has a more sand like filling which is much less noticeable and the weight feels much more natural - which is strange because I didn't think the 5 lbs would make that much of a difference - 25lbs felt weird like it was making my hip and ankles sore depending on the position. Just purchased the cheapest color because I already have a a duvet cover. It is a unique feeling for sleep that is nice when you get used to it, little heavier to move around but no issues with excess heat which is interesting.
