Super easy to install + a perfect match
This motor is a great price + a perfect fit for my old fan. Runs quieter than the dying motor I had previously. Took maybe 15 minutes tops to swap.

A little tweak needed.
The shaft was a bit long but a strip of foam tape around the housing fixed this and decreased vibration. It was a little louder than I thought but that may be the housing design more than the fan.

Nice replacement motor for a ceiling fan.
This arrived in a sturdy cardboard box with a fan and a motor, no extra pieces. The bolts for the motor were installed already so you have to remove them. My old fan gave out a while ago, so I took the aluminum bracket down and swapped it for this one.This is a fairly thick motor compared to the old one, so the fit is just a bit tight in the enclosure. The bolts just gave enough clearance to thread the nuts on, as you can see from the pics. I could use another 5mm of shaft on this because of the geometry of the box, but that's not the fault of the product.It is very quiet and seems to be well made. Looking at the quality of bolts, windings and the like, it is higher quality than the old motor. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this, but check your measurements.
