Camera doesn’t have any guidelines and it keeps going off as well

I recieved this item and was looking forward to upgrading the look of my dash, Opened the box to check it out and yes it does look good,Lots of cables and not intructions on where they all go , Maybe an idea for the plugs to be attached to the unit( one less thing for the customer to worry about ) But aways , after figuring out what went where and getting the unit to power up the was one major draw back, My main instrement panel change to an orental language that I was unable to change ( WHAT A LET DOWN ) After spending 2 hours taking the old unit out stripping out 2 air vents, heater control panel and hazard/trak control/central locking panel to find this out , Mug of tea break and think what next ???????? , Decided , cut my losses and take it out and fit the old unit back ,, oh Surprise , dash board back to english,, What a shame was looking forward to a nice smart dash,, Unit on its way back to amazon

Firstly, what a great idea as an upgrade to a vauxhall insignia but.....Arrived on time, well packaged etc. Took my insignia to bits to fit the new bit of kit and all was going so well until I noticed my own cars menu system language changed to Chinese! Then the button for parking sensors wouldn't work. The eco mode button kept popping back out of its fitment (poor quality plastics on the new unit). It states on the description that it's for the the 2008-13 model insignia but the menu operating system is for a 2013 onwards in the system menu. Paired my phone with the unit and all seemed well. The sound quality was really good compared to the original vauxhall unit. Happy days I thought.... However everytime you switched it off, you had to try and repair the unit again and again to your phone (like it has no memory)The radio..... Great if you only want to listen to two radio stations as that's all it picked up.Satnav, when the connection to the phone worked, it was great as it mirrored your phone (;which only worked twice)As an independent satnav unit, it couldn't pick up a single, both with using it's own satnav aerial or the original one in the car.I studied the instructions, watched YOUTUBE videos on it (only a couple available) and genuinely couldn't get the unit to work properly. Two days wasted.I did manage to sort out the language issues and the fact the door opening system was registering the wrong door open etc. I must of had a duff unit. I have sent it back for a full refund.Gutted as this looked to be an amazing upgrade. Buyer beware is all I can say.Can't fault the delivery or customer service, just the unit that I received.

What a great bit of kit and reasonably priced, although cheaper on eBay.Dismantling was far easier than putting it all back; overall nothing difficult and a great upgrade 👍
