Escam G02 720P P2P WiFi IP Camera with Night Vision/Pan Tilt Function/Support ONVIF Built-in Speaker Mic

I had doubts, that for the money this might not be very good. I need not have worried, it was easy to set up, the image definition is good, the night definition is good. By being able to set points via the app which the camera will move to makes it easy to quickly make a check of the surroundings. One small point to be aware of, if the power to the camera is disconnected, when the camera reconnects to the app it looses the email settings for push messages, you just need to re-enter them on the app. Well worth the money, it appears well made and nicely finished and comes with a good mounting bracket, it can be mounted on a ceiling as the image can be inverted.

Brilliant camera, you really couldn't ask for more at the budget end of the spectrum, I bought this to put above my Giant African Land Snail tank so I could watch them on my phone or laptop (I know I'm a sad g**) it works well from the recommended app in the (limited) instructions included or you can access it from your browser by going to the IP address which your router assigns the device (check your routers connected devices list for what the IP is) I even managed to link it up with OBS so I could live stream my snails on Facebook! so happy with just how useful this camera is and the picture quality is pretty great too, only slight annoyance I found was that it has a very bright LED on light which reflects off shiny objects if they are too close but that's easily solved with a small bit of electrical tape.

Really good budget range camera. After having a few set up problems where I eventually figured out I had to connect the camera to an ethernet cable FIRST, before setting up the WiFi options I found it to be a good little device. Good image quality, motion detection alert functionality. The night vision is quite good as well. The app could be more user friendly as I think people who aren't tech savvy might struggle with it. I had a bit of a faff when figuring out that the "Call/set up" option is actually a function for setting preset views. Might be easier to call them "set view" and "select view".The mic is quite handy as well and the ability to record/take photos directly to your phone using the app.(p.s. Could do with a longer power cable as well haha)

Bought to keep an eye on the dog when out. Worked well for the first month or two, but now it doesn't connect properly, you can view it for a second, but then it crashes and you can't look again for a few minutes.

Its a nice looking piece of kit, but very difficult to setup.

Being more at the budget end I wasn't sure if I'd be wasting my money but I'm happy to say they were worth every penny. I had a dvr for some other cameras and as these are onvif compliant the dvr connected up to these easily. The images are clear and with the ir cut the night time pictures are very well illuminated by the on board ir. When out and about its easy to connect via mobile to check in on our dogs especially with the pan and tilt feature. I'm so please with these cameras I've now bought a fourth.

I have given it the benefit of the doubt for the last week, but I have come to the conclusion that I have wasted my money. The camera keeps losing connection to the WiFi and each day I have found the camera pointing vertically up. I have added it to a Zone Minder ONVIF CCTV system - it doesn't work well. Movement is not captured. Last night it recorded 1323 triggered events - all blue screens! As for the phone app - pure nonsense. You can move the camera using the phone app, but only in massive movements, none of which capture the image you want. You pay your money and take your choice I guess.

Camera arrived via amazon as promised within 24 hours. The camera is easy to set up, arrives with a usb plug and cable, approximately 1m in length. You will probably need an extension cable if, like me, your wall socket is some distance away. The camera comes with a short manual, which is actually quite easy to follow. I had the camera working within 5 minutes. Changing the password is very easy via the app. Picture quality is excellent for such a low cost camera. Highly recommended price of kit.
