STATUS 100W 5 Bar Electric Heated Towel Rail, Free-Standing Aluminium Dryer, White (WHTR-100W1PKB)

This is a very good value product. It is lightweight and the construction is such that you can move it around easily. You only have to attach the two feet which stabilise the towel rail. The screws are quite small and I found it helped with tightening if I screwed them directly into the base first. The on/off switch illuminates when on which is very useful. The rail heats up quickly and is very effective and is a 100w so quite a low wattage. This is good for use in the kitchen or a bedroom to warm towels or dry tea towels for around the house. It looks quite smart and is very functional at a very reasonable outlay.

Great at drying towels in a colder house with no central heating. Easy to set up and use, it is also very light and looks good in the bathroom. It is however, a bit expensive and the feet seem very flimsy.

Easy to put together. Heats up really quickly. Perfect for 2 medium sized towels & 1 hand towel. I would recommend.

Void that complaint about missing feet ... he who shall be nameless had been examining the contents and put them in another room. All put together now and working a treat. Thank you!!! This is my second version of this style of heater, the last one has just stopped working after over 10years.

One leg attachment had a problem. Welded tube was not centered (pictured) and tip of supplied screw became cross threaded when trying to attack leg. Screw would go into tube without leg, but not with leg. Needed to use needle file to clean up screw threads and taper screw tip to get it in with leg. Still concerned that it might be cross threaded as very hard to turn screw in. Towel rail heats up OK within. 5 mins. On/Off switch needs firm press to turn on as does not appear to be spring loaded. That is, it does not ‘click’ into position.

It was up and working within minutes of coming out of the box. It does what it's supposed to do - it keeps towel warm and dry. Gas central heating is too expensive to run at the moment and towels were getting smelly after being used and left on cold radiators. This has not been a problem since we bought this heated towel rail. It's cheap to run and gives out enough heat to dry the towels. It's also good enough to dry undies and socks after a wash - as long as you move them around and allow heat to all parts. In case anyone's wondering, no, it won't help to warm a room, even a small one. Very happy with this purchase.

Poor manufacturing quality. The tabs for screwing on the feet are misaligned so that the feet will not rest evenly on the floor, making it very unstable. I phoned the help phone number but they have not called back. I have been able to bend the feet now so that they sit square but I not sure if this has weakened the tabs. I only did this as I need to install this today, too about an additional 90 mins to try and fix. Really not happy with the poor quality.

Detta ligger nu i huset för att när den var väl öppnad såg man att det är engelsk (UK) elkoppling och inte EU standard. Så det går inte att använda förrän vi betala för att byta koppling. Super tråkigt att Amazon SE levererar varor som inte har rätt el koppling för regionen, och inte heller namnge information om detta på deras sida- super onöjd!

Could have a slightly heavier base for stability, otherwise, nice.

Las patas no se podían atornillar bien, de forma quedaba medio cojo y al mes se ha partido uno de los enganches metálicos donde se atornillaba la pata. He tenido otro similar de otra marca durante 15 años y este se rompe al mes🤷‍♀️

I find this towel rail very good. The only disappointment was when assembled the legs, one of the bolt inside thread was not under 90°, so the construction became non stable, but after some work, it's fine now. Heating us impressive for 100 watts, can't touch for a few seconds, too hot. Overall, recommend!
