Hands down the BEST sunscreen I’ve ever used!! I’ve tried so many sunscreens over the years, and they all had something I didn’t like. They either left a white cast, felt greasy, or had that weird powdery sunscreen feeling whenever I’d touch my face throughout the day. This one is completely different. It goes on just like a lightweight moisturizer and absorbs beautifully into my skin. Once it’s on, I honestly forget I’m even wearing sunscreen. There’s no gross sticky residue, no heavy feeling, and absolutely no white cast. I use this every single morning as the last step in my skincare routine before makeup, and it’s become a product I genuinely can’t live without. One of the things I also love is that it’s inspired by Japanese sunscreen formulas, which are known for feeling much more elegant than a lot of traditional sunscreens I’ve tried. You get excellent sun protection without feeling like you’re wearing a layer of sunscreen all day. Huge bonus… it’s FSA/HSA eligible! Win win!! I honestly wish I could give this more than 5 stars. I’ll never go back to another facial sunscreen.

The formula is incredibly lightweight and goes on more like a moisturizer than a sunscreen. It absorbs quickly, doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily, and has never caused blemishes. It also layers beautifully under makeup without pilling or affecting the finish. Most importantly, it has provided excellent sun protection while keeping my skin comfortable all day. If you’re looking for a high-SPF facial sunscreen that feels weightless and works well under makeup, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

I’ve been using this for about a month now, and I’m really happy with it. It has a light fragrance, which I usually avoid, but it hasn’t caused any issues for my skin. Most sunscreens don’t suit me, but this one does. It’s affordable, effective, and gives a slightly dewy finish, so I think it’s a great option for people with dry skin like me.

Awesome consistency, like a body lotion that leans toward the thinner side. No white cast or residue, it really absorbs into the skin and doesn’t feel like it’s just sitting on top of your face. No strong scent but I feel like it almost smells like you just cut into a fresh lime. Works well under my makeup. My new go-to sunscreen.

I have oily skin and for the longest time I was so frustrated because my makeup would pill on top of my sunscreen no matter what I tried. It was getting to a point where I didn't even want to bother doing my makeup during the day because no matter what I did it would just pill on top of my sunscreen and ruin the whole look. But skipping SPF was never really an option for me, SPF 50 is non-negotiable in my routine. So I started researching and this one kept coming up specifically for people who wear makeup over their sunscreen. Apparently, the gel formula is what makes the difference! This product plays well with the other products in my routine and my makeup just sits on top of it the way it's supposed to. No pilling, no weird texture underneath, nothing. It does leave a glowy, almost dewy finish, like you put on a really good moisturizer. I'm oily so that's not usually my thing, but once I put my makeup on top it just looks like natural, healthy skin. Not greasy, not shiny in a bad way. It actually makes my makeup look more natural and that I really wasn't expecting. A couple of things worth mentioning so you know what you're getting into: it has a strong scent, and you do need to take your time working it into the skin for it to absorb properly. I don't mind either one but wanted to be honest about it. No white cast, and it doesn't irritate my eyes at all. If you've been struggling to find a sunscreen that works under makeup, especially if you have oily or combination skin, I'd really recommend giving this one a shot!!

I came back to buy this again for myself and thought I should leave a review! This sunscreen is lightweight, doesn’t feel heavy on the face and blends in very well. My Dad is 76, spends a lot of his free time outside working in the yard. He’s now on his 3rd or 4th round of skin cancer on his face. I brought this on our family vacation for him to try. I had a feeling he wasn’t using sunscreen because he didn’t like the feeling on his skin. I tried getting him to use a spray designed for the face and the bottle was full last time I was home… This one he used and liked! My mom came straight here and bought 2 bottles. Great protection and absorption! Highly recommend!

I’ve been looking for a new spf ever since my favorite Korean one got discontinued (centella water-fit sun serum spf 50). Before I was using the centella spf I had actually been using the OG/real version of Biore UV aqua rich spf at some point (the one that was PA++++). That version had the newer (more stable) generation UV filters and it was great aside from being a bit too shiny for my oily skin. But I guess to comply with the fda’s outdated standards, Biore now makes this version of their spf with the usual American uv filters to sell in America. Well whatever, I decided to give it a try after Consumer Reports rated it as one of their best picks for facial spf, but it turned out to be a mistake in my case! I have sensitive oily acne prone skin and this stuff is just too shiny and irritating for me. It’s also not the least bit water or even sweat resistant. Like at ALL. I don’t trust it to provide much spf protection despite CR rating it good because it started sliding off my face and into my eyes within about 20 minutes of being active outside (it was like 5am so not even hot yet!). This isn’t typical for me - in fact I rarely have issues with my spf running into my eyes (and I’ve worn spf every day for decades now!) but this stuff was literally dripping off my face during a light jog in cool weather. Unlike most spf I’ve used the directions even say to reapply every 40 minutes. That’s less than an hour! And it’s also not water resistant so you need something better if you’re going to be in the water. I can’t help but wonder if this is why CR scored it so highly (b/c Biore is being honest and telling people it protects them for less than an hour and not at all in the water?). It does smell nice (watch out if you’re sensitive to fragrance though) and it does create a good canvas for makeup application. It’s hands down better than most drugstore spf in that respect. That’s why I’ll give it 3 stars (it’s possible some of my issues stem from having oily skin). It doesn’t pill and looks great under my liquid mineral makeup, but it also makes it liable to wipe right off my face if anything touches it! My hair kept sticking to my face (really annoying). Another thing is, it seemed to clog my pores and irritate my skin, although I’m not sure why. Ive gone back to using P. Calm’s water barrier sun cream and am way happier with that one (I also like that it’s PA++++ ). I’d definitely rec avoiding this one if you have oily or sensitive skin, and also if you are active or you know, can’t reapply your spf every 40 minutes (so basically most normal people should avoid it IMO). It’s apparently useless if you can’t reapply it multiple times an hour!!!

I've tried many different moisturizing sunscreens for the face, but this one is my favorite so far and costs a fraction of some of the others. The texture is creamy but not too thick so it goes on nicely and makes my skin feel hydrated. Some of the others wouldn't soak in but they stayed on top of my skin and made it look white. I'm 55 years old and have super dry skin and wrinkles. I usually need a moisturizer on top of my sunscreen, but this moisturizer keeps me from needing both. Highly recommend!

Encontré este protector solar porque ya había probado la versión japonesa y me había encantado, le quise dar una oportunidad y lo amé :) . Textura ligera, rápida absorción, acabado un poco brilloso pero look "saludable" ; tiene un ligerísimo olor pero no molesta para nada. Apto para pieles sensibles :) yo por lo general debo usar protectores solares minerales porque los químicos suelen molestarme los ojos; y éste aunque creo que es híbrido no tiene ese efecto... a menos que claramente entre en contacto directo cuando sudas o etc. Recomiendo ampliamente :)

La textura es adecuada y no deja sensación grasosa ni se ve brillosa la piel. Un gran producto que ha sorprendido gratamente

Es un bloqueador ligero, al aplicarlo se difumina muy bien y no quedan residuos blancos en piel

Es buen protector solar. El tiempo que llevo usándolo (un mesas o menos) y no me a causado reacción y yo tengo piel sensible; se siente ligero y no molesta para nada en estas épocas de calor. Si tienes la piel MUY sensible, no lo se puesto que tiene fragancia en la formulación y al principio no me gustó, más no molesto, es como un olor cítrico (que la caja también menciona). No me molestó para nada en los ojos. Sobre si es el de Japón o no, pues, si y no. La caja dice que tiene la formulación de biore japón pero está hecho en Canadá, yo no he probado el que viene de Japón pero para mí no es importante ya que de ser traído de allá estaría más caro y yo considero que el precio es razonable por la cantidad que es.

Llevo años usando skincare coreano y por primera vez creo que encontré al santo grial de la protección solar. Lo es incluso para las pieles más exigentes como las coreanas; donde el skincare es una religión. Lo que más amo es la facilidad con la que se absorbe, no deja rastro blanco, ni brillo, ni sensación pegajosa. Perfecto para usar debajo del maquillaje.
