I used these gold leaf flakes to decorate a birthday cake and they added such a beautiful finishing touch. The gold flakes give my cake a high end, elegant look without requiring much effort. They catch the light nicely and make my decoration stand out, especially in pictures. I also really like that the set comes with two bottles. One bottle alone contains a generous amount, so it can be used for many cakes and other decorating projects instead of running out after just one use. The flakes are easy to sprinkle , very thin, flaky texture and work well for adding small accents or covering larger areas, depending on the look you want. I used them specifically for cake decoration, but I can also see them being useful for decorating drinks and other desserts. A little can make a noticeable difference, so the bottles should last for quite a while with normal use. I’m happy with how my cake turned out. The gold flakes gave it a more polished and luxurious appearance and made a simple cake look much more elegant. These are a nice option if you want to add a decorative gold touch to cakes, desserts or drinks.

Worked great for my daughters cake and cupcakes! Versatile… also used to make debri for a coke bottle tornado with my kids science project haha fanciest looking tornado I’ve seen.

Beautiful but has no flavor at all. It’s hard to take out of the tiny tube. I used a toothpick.

Sprinkled this on a chocolate cake. Guests kept saying, Is that Real gold?” One man had three pieces because he loved the idea of eating gold. Fun.

Be prepared to have to separate the particles because it’ll come out in a chunk of gold.

These flakes were a little hard to get out of the container. Definitely need Tweezers. But they came out flaky. Some bigger than others, but easy to tear apart with the Tweezers. Stuck to the icing pretty easily. It's a pretty gold and looked like picture.

These gold leaf flakes were very disappointing. They looked like gold aluminum foil crumbled and cut into pieces. Nothing like I expected. I didn’t use these on the cake. Refused to use them would be a better statement. The quality is unacceptable and it’s unfortunate I can’t return them. I totally wasted money on these. I should have known better. Two packs for $9.99! You get what you pay for.
