I am getting about 100 MBPS in a line of site link from the main house to an out building about 350 feet (107 meters) away. This completely solved our coverage issue in the out building. Configuration was quite easy, and in fact I really didn't do anything. It was just configured to work. I tested it in close proximity like the instructions say to do and let the system lock up, then deployed the units to their respective positions. The harder part was all the work to run the cables neatly, make the needed holes, find suitable mounting brackets, etc. etc. But the whole project was done in a weekend.

This absolutely DOES NOT PLUG AND PLAY. There are additional ethernet cords needed, potentially ethernet adapters if your laptop doesn't have an ethernet port (almost no new laptops have this). This came with ZERO instructions or help. The QR code to an "install guide" has no words, just photos of ethernet cords being plugged into the device. It doesn't say whether an ethernet cord is needed but it wasn't included so you have to figure that part out on your own. I was able to get 1 configured but cannot get the other device set up and there is no help or instructions. I am so frustrated by this process, it's not user friendly at all.

I have used this bridge for just about a week, but it's been very good. I was able to get the speed at about 300Mbps on the remote/receiving network at about 150 ft away. IK it's a very short distance for its design (1KM?), but it's still much better than other bridges that I have used (<100Mbps at the same distance and location). And it's already set up and easy to use.

The first thing I did was to factory reset the bridges so I could join them to UNMS, or whatever they have renamed it to. The joined right away and I pushed a firmware upgrade to them. The bridge came up quickly and seems to have a stable connection. I have several different ubiquiti bridges and they have all worked great.

Simple installation, no setup required. Would highly recommend. I’m using it to get WiFi to my shop which is about 50yds away from my house.

Worked perfectly right out of the box. All I had to do was configure my admin login/password because I did not like the defaults. Also, since I am running under 100 yards, I reduced the power transmitted by both units. No need to broadcast to the entire neighborhood. Other than these tune-ups, everything worked just fine, and established the link right away. Now I would like to update the units with the latest firmware version, but I have two problems: A) the admin interface has a button to update the firmware automatically, but it does not update and gives an error. No big deal, I can upload the new firmware by hand. as long as the new firmware update does not break anything. A bigger problem is B) the vendor is not responsive. I have contacted them several times about the firmware update issue and the possibility to manually upload the new firmware files, but the vendor does not answer. Sorry to say that an otherwise excellent product is marred by a non-responsive vendor. Shame.
