I run a small power inverter on the back of my jeep and I began to wonder about carbon monoxide entering the cabin. The jeep has a cargo rack out back, but I still was concerned about the gas entering the cab. I got this detector, and I just placed it on the dash, when I'm running the generator.It never went off, except when I tested it, so I wasn't really sure about it. One morning, I had the back lift gate open, while searching for a tool. The generator was running, and suddenly the detector went off. I went and looked, and sure enough, it detected the carbon monoxide gas, and even displayed the ppm of gas detected, so I knew it really worked. Cheap insurance, that might actually save your life someday...

It’s very easy to use and looks great

I wouldn't trust this for a second. After a month of use it started buzzing, glitching out, and no longer detects CO. If it wasn't making this weird buzz sound I wouldn't even know it stopped working and could just die in my sleep.

It works as it should. Price is good but it goes through batteries fast. It is small and fits anywhere it's super easy to install and extremely loud. The quality is ok but you get what you pay for.
