I always wear a Scorpion EXO-100 helmet while riding, and I prefer to keep the visor down to provide some eye protection against insects and flying debris. You never know when a car ahead is going to pick up a pebble or some other object on a tire and send it flying in your direction.Since I do most of my riding during the day I usually use a dark smoke tinted visor (I live in a hot, sunny climate.) But that visor is too dark for nighttime riding so on those occasions when I ride after sunset I tend to keep the visor in the up position.But with this if I know I'm going to be riding after dark I can fairly quickly (it takes me 2 or 3 minutes to swap these out - others may be more adept at it than I) change lenses to the clear so I can drop the visor down in front of my eyes again. And that's the reason I bought it in the first place.I like the helmet and really like the feature of the retractable visor. Once in a while I do need to retract it while riding (for example, if I get caught in some rain - there is no windshield wiper on the visor so keeping it down in that instance reduces visibility as rain droplets build up on the visor.) But for the typical nighttime riding this gives me the option of the additional protection the visor can provide.

I now have all three tints of this. I honestly doubt I will ever use the clear or the dark again! The light tint is perfect for day and night. It should come with the helmet! It works great in sun and is perfect for glaring headlights at night! My vision is perfect. I am going to buy another. I just wish this tint was available for all helmets!!!

Shield could be made better. Scratched very easily. It does work.Wish it was better quality.CS never emailed me about a replacement.

Makes you always wonder, will this fit. Original manufacturers part, from what I can see. Excellent quality and very good price. Very good transaction, and I would buy this again if needed.My old visor was the original smoke, which I liked at first but later wished it was different in shading. So far, I very much like the blue.And I lost all my scratches!The lens was easy to replace, about 2 minutes, start to finish.
