This is good for the price and can be extremely bright at the highest setting (easily lighting someone from across a room). Colours on skin tones are not as natural looking as more expensive lights however. But certainly a good light for the price.

Very light weight, easy to power and a good size.Strange for a video light, but I really like the design of it - very clean and simple - but effective.It#s much brighter than I expected and I love the remote - it's a nice feature.Changing light intensity and colour is very easy and quite well softened.The only negative - and it's very important - is they don't provide a protective case or bag, which, I think is very important.

I was recommended this brand and product by a friend who knows more about lighting than me and I am not disappointed, it offers very good value of money for a quality product. The panel itself is very light weight and thin as I am more used to traditional heavy lighting fixtures. The light outout and brightness is impressive and wasn't expexting this much light. The control are very easy to use but did come with instructions if needed. The remote was also included and can be useful. My only concern is that it didn't come with a UK plug but with comes with an adapter but I will most probably use one of my own adapters. I have used it in a video blog and it made a lot of difference in video quality compared to no light. Good purchase.

Product as described and works well.The remote makes changing the brightness and temperature very easy.I have removed one star because it comes (with the appropriate foam cut out) a USA adapter to European converter to a UK converter! I cut all of that out with a USA to UK converter because it's really hard to find an 18v 1.8amp wall plug.

Got two of these lights at a discount price. They're not amazingly bright but work very well at a suitable distance. I like the remote that allows you to control the brightness and colour temperature and it can operate both lights in synch which is a lot of fun. I'm jolly happy with these. I am no expert on the matter of making videos or lighting so my opinion should be considered fairly meaningless.

A great light that gives a lot for your money.Straight out of the box is the light itself, a mains lead with 2 to 3 pin adapter, a remote control, batteries and a screw mount.The colour temperature is controlled by the remote and is configurable from 3300k to 5600k, there is a on/off switch on the back of the lamp and a dimmer, this takes 2 x Sony type batteries so I would suggest using the mains lead if you are using it indoors, not sure what the battery life is like yet but it is unlikely that I will use it in the field so it doesn't matter much to me, it could be important for you however.This is a great lamp with a small footprint but very versatile and very bright, a good addition to my camera bag.

Build quality is OK but works well and will likely last if not abused. And it is BRIGHT. This is my first LED light so I wasn't entirely sure how the brightness rating would translate to real world usage. I bought it for photography but since then also used to illuminate my entire garden when I had to do some work after dark. Yes, it is that bright :-) Remote works well but doesn't receive brightness/K from the unit so, for example, if you set brightness directly on the unit and then change it from the remove it'll jump to where the remote thinks it should be. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.

Overall works well. I don't like the stand connection, lots of plastics but seems to all work fine. Slim so great for a travelling set up.
