Super Sharp!! Loved it right away.
Got it on Black Friday and it was a steal but even at the normal price it’s worth it as it’s true to quality and comes super sharp! The grip is lovely and really eye catching, the weight to it feels nice and solid, not light and cheap so it definitely stands out and is great to use.You can chop super fast and not have your blade snag and stop while cutting

Quality Exceeds any expectation. Just outstanding
This is an amazing knife. I have some chef's knives that I spent $75 on. This knife is better. It's a Samurai sword for food. I've never encountered a knife THIS sharp. It's amazing. On Black Friday I got it for $10! Insane! This knife is worth more than my fancy German knife. It's beautiful. I bought another one and paid $25. Well worth it. (Two chiefs in the kitchen. I then bought the paring knife. If you're looking for a new chef's knife - you gotta get this one. You won't be disappointed. To the manufacturer - Arigato! Accompanied by a very respectful bow.

Your other daily use, kitchen knives will fail the test!
I feel like such a pro in the kitchen with this knife!! I have several sizes of kitchen knives that do the job okay for most things, but this one is 150% SHARPER! Now I get why professional chefs have/keep their own knives they hold dear. This one cuts with precision through everything I've used it on for meal prepping. For the 1st time I actually fileted several large chicken breasts, neatly & evenly (applause😁)... Cut through them with ease like buttah!! I even used it as a bread knife after testing it to my actual bread knife & discovered cutting fresh baked sourdough bread shouldn't be a chore! It glides through whole watermelons, raw potatoes, onions, beets, whole carrots; chopping, dicing, julianne cuts etc. Makes fast work of removing sinewy fat off beef & pork cuts too. Has a good, solid handle that is easy to grip & comes with a protective 'sleeve' to slide the sharp edge in.... Did I mention this knife is sharp?? My other knives can't cut butter compared to this knife🥴

Sharp and comfortable
I'm really impressed. For what I paid for this knife ($9), I wasn't expecting much but the reviews were good so I thought it was worth a try. I can't speak for the longevity of the edge or the longevity of the knife as a whole yet but straight out of the plastic sheath anyway it's razor sharp! The damascus pattern of course isn't all that intricit but it is still beautiful which is part of the reason I bought it. I love demascus. The handle is comfortable. It's a pretty well balanced knife overall and it is a joy to use, truly.I'm "just" a home cook but a pretty avid one. I appreciate a good knife and I'm extremely happy with this one!

Beautiful knife, incredible value
Knife is beautiful. Gave as a gift, mother loves it. Extremely sharp out of the box, design fits various hand sizes well. Absolutely impressed with it. Family member immediately considered it heirloom quality and called dibs. I love how well it cuts and keeps it's edge. Very happy with this purchase. Can't believe I got this quality for that price (black Friday sale)

Great quality and value
I have been using the same knives I bought 10-15 years ago, and although I took great care of them, it’s finally time to replace them. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find 5” santokus for the same price and quality as before and wasted money on more expensive but worse quality versions from the same companies (ahem, looking at you hollow-edge wustof). This knife is solid, sharp, and feels great in my hands. I have learned my lesson and bought a back up for the future.

Almost perfect
I bought the Home Hero 5" Santoku as an extra to complement our existing Emeril 5" Santoku so my wife and I each have one to use when we cook together. It's perfect for cutting small veggies like brussels sprouts, carrots, mushrooms, potatoes, etc, and is also useful for smaller cuts of meat like chicken breasts.I chose the Home Hero for its VG10 steel, good looks, included storage blade protector, and great price, and I am not disappointed. It came shaving sharp and has held an edge very well, remaining shaving sharp after many uses. Although it never got dull enough to degrade performance cutting food, it did lose its razor edge after a month or so, but was very easy to bring back to shaving sharp with a few light strokes on the 40 degree V of a Spyderco Sharpmaker. My only complaint about it is the handle is just a little short so the end of it catches the palm a little uncomfortably when I take a natural grip. But it is so good otherwise, I just choke up on it a little and cut happily way.

Great knife for the price. Very sharp!
Hard to imagine VG10 at this price.Had to try it and have been very happy with the purchase. Can't confirm if it's true VG10 but the knife is very sharp and comfortable to use. Will have to see how it holds up but, so far, I'm very happy with it. BTW Never put your kitchen knives in the dishwasher - always hand wash.
