Generic Hard Cover Case for Samsung Galaxy Centura S738C - Retail Packaging - Black

I bought this case because my phone was so slippery. Leaning over could easily cause it to slide out of my shirt pocket. This case has a slightly rubbery texture that gives just enough grip that I feel comfortable it won't fall out of my pocket.Note that while this will undoubtedly offer some protection (certainly against scratches on the phone's side and back), it is not equivalent to the name-brand (i.e. expensive) cases. At 1/10 the cost of these cases, you can't ask for equivalent protection.This case is in two pieces, a front and back piece. They snap quite securely together, and I've never had it want to come apart. (I've never dropped it either, so that might make a difference).All in all, for what I paid, I'm quite happy with this case.

It does a very fine job of covering the phone! I have had the case for quite some time now and it has held up very well. The bit of stuff covering the plastic case is starting to peel very little on the edges but otherwise its a solid case. Why I did not give this a five star is for the fact that it does not allow any air flow behind and around the battery. If i am constantly doing something that requires lots of CPU, my phone sends me an overheating message. Only problem I have had with it. Very good for the price!!

It's not hard - it's rubbery, to that's why it gets 4 stars. My husband really likes it though because he used to drop his phone several times a day and now he doesn't since it's grippy. Be prepared to wait a long time to receive it though because this particular item comes all the way from China.

Even though the description says "Hard Cover Case" - I was expecting more of a solid, but rubber, case. It isn't, but that's fine. So far I've been using the case for a couple weeks and it is holding up perfectly. I have my phone in a snug holster and the case doesn't have any week corners or areas where it appears the shell wants to come apart. It snapped together perfectly and solidly and for the price this product is completely worth it. It has a nice smooth feel and ample cutouts for all the phone buttons and controls.

i like this case bc it protects the phone and fits well in my pocket. My only complaint it if I need to reboot the phone by removing the battery, I feel like I am going to mess up the phone by prying on the case. The original buttons on the phone are exposed unlike the jelly case I had before. All and all not a bad case though.

I just wanted something that might give me a little protection, but would also make my phone not so slippery in my hand, and this item accomplished that well enough for me, at the price paid. Had all the proper cut-outs for my phone. Not the easiest to remove, but I do not need to take it off very often. Much cheaper than anything I could find locally.

It isn't durable. It is flimsy plastic covered in a rubberized exterior. On my cover, a small section of rubber wore away after a week and now it exposes the white plastic interior. The Technical Details indicates that it is "high quality construction", but that is obviously not true. Maybe it is high quality compared to junk.The good thing about it is that it is an inexpensive cover, but it will only provide short-term protection (e.g., similar to a band-aid). I suggest getting a more expensive cover if you want to keep the phone for several months or more.

I couldn't expect anything above the quality received for the price paid on this particular item. Snaps together in two pieces(front & back) and forms a very close fit to the centura phone. Could nitpick some small things such as paint scuffing and corners not completely flush, but am overall impressed for the value.
