Filofax 26027 Organiser Malden A5 Kingfisher, Blue

I have loved using a Filofax for many years now. They were once really trendy, losing out to the arrival of the capabilities of mobile phones ('You still have a diary?' people would say with incredulity), but still I persisted with my love of all things Filofaxy.Over the years, popularity has grown again I am pleased to see, as people realise that technology just does not give you the 'feel' that you get with a Filofax. And feel is just what this makes you want to do, beautifully soft leather, so touchy feely that I want to take it everywhere with me, but it is remaining at home to journal with. I have even managed to get some leather balm to ensure that it is kept as stunning as possible over the years. I got Kaps 158 Air Blue polish from Amazon, closest I could find in colour.My older one, a Personal sized one, was well over 25 years old until some scroat stole my handbag one January. That was black and had been polished lovingly 4 times a year max, and still looked new. So this one gets the same love and care too, in the sure knowledge that it will still be amazing in another 25 yrs (I won't be but hey!).Some say the expense isn't worth it, but I refute that. If you want something nice, pay a little more and enjoy it. The fact it will last 25 yrs or more is exceptional, making it £3.20 per year outlay. That will do for me thank you very much.

I originally started with the grey filofax Malden personal which I carried around in my handbag and is the ideal every day size system, but it began to get too heavy to carry around especially as I was not really using it while out. I decided on a brown pocket Malden for my handbag which is so much lighter to carry and big enough with the day to page diary to write loads in. But I was not entirely happy with the personal size because I had large writing and the pages were quite compact. I saw the A5 in the Kingfisher blue and was debating on whether I wanted to spend that amount on another filofax. One day I just hit buy on Amazon. Best decision I made. Like the other 2 malden's it is a beautiful leather and the blue is very pretty. The week to view agenda column diary is perfect and so much easier for people with larger writing. It is difficult to carry around, unless you have a larger handbag but it is ideal sitting on my bedside table so I can glance at it at the start of the day. All three size maldens are definitely worth the money. They are a soft leather so are not hard back when writing, but with lots of paper in them, that is not a problem. I am so pleased I just hit buy and brought it.

Love the colour

This is 10000% worth every penny! Will last for years! Wonderful Filofax. Packed so beautifully in a hard case box with tissue paper. The smell when you open it is amazing! It’s so soft and the colour was so vibrant! Have been using this every day and it’s invaluable to me and my busy life!

Beautiful Filofax - the leather is buttery soft and the colour is gorgeous. I missed getting the Aqua Malden in A5 before they stopped making it, but to be honest the Kingfisher colour is nicer and more vibrant.

Very pleased with my new Filofax! Delivery was quick. Spent a lot of time looking. Really like this design and the zip compartment is really handy.
