Purchased these for a cross country road trip and they were perfect. Far exceeded my expectations. We would fill them with ice from the hotel at the start of the day and at night had a bag full of cool, crisp water to refill our water bottles with. Never leaked during our 2 week trip.

I usually just freeze a big jug of water and put that in my cooler because I hate dumping ice in which then melts and gets all my stuff wet, plus then you can drink it as it melts. However, I was going on a road trip to a few places where I would not be able to refreeze my ice jug overnight, but there was an ice machine available so I thought I would try these. They worked great! The handle didn't go on very well, but I didn't really need it since it was sitting in my cooler the whole time. The bags still had a tiny bit of ice in them at the end of the day and the stuff in the cooler was cold enough. The spout was great for pouring melted water out too. I was a little nervous about puncturing them, but they are fairly thick. Just be careful with them. A great option for if you are only able to get ice and not freeze something. We did put one in a freezer one night though and it froze just fine and was still pretty solid at the end of the day.

Used this for a 10 hour car ride, they kept everything in the cooler cold. Love that you can just fill them with ice cubes and there is no need to keep them in a freezer.
