Can this be glued on or does it have to be sewn?

Please kindly note that our silicone elastic gripper can be glued or sewn. If you want to glue it, it is more suitable for sticking on the flat surfaces for better results. To be on the safe side, we suggest you cut out a short piece of silicone gripper tape and glue it on to see if the effect meets your requirements.

According to our most customers’ feedback, this type of silicone elastic band works well on leggings, pants, bike shorts, shoulder straps and so on.

Question 2

As a larger guy, it's tough keeping pants in place with just a belt. Would this work to help keep pants from sliding down when a shirt is tucked in?

As for your concern, we kindly suggest you to try to glue or sew the silicone gripper tape around the belt line inside the pants, or just apply several short sections on the flat and inelastic areas. Please be noted that when you tuck the shirt in the pants, the friction effect of the silicone gripper tape would be affected by the material of the shirt. Therefore, our advice can only be given to you as a reference, we recommend that you try it out to see the effect.

Question 3

I want to use this on a medical device what is the material composition? Is there a Bio Compatibility information available?

Mine came with no further information than what was in the Amazon add. It lists polyester fiber, spandex, silicone and rubber.  have had no reaction to using this product. I usually wash all products before I use them but in one case I used it without washing it and still had no reaction. I'm jubilant about that!

Will this work to put on the inside of a dress at the shoulders so that the dress stays just below the shoulder and doesn't slip?

You can try to sew it on the inside of the edge of the dress with the silicone facing outward, and make it tight enough against your skin, then it will keep the dress in place from slipping.
