El cuero utilizado es muy bueno, suave y permite trabajar bien, pero en el puño es muy corto, debería ser más largo el cuero y cubrir bien la muñeca (unión entre la mano y el antebrazo) además la tela es muy fina y los aguijones de las abejas pasa con facilidad y llegan a picar el brazo.

Exactly what I hoped for

We bought this with the manufacturer's full body beekeeping suit. About 10 years ago we had a swarm of bees on our lemon tree and back then we hired an exterminator to get rid of them--cost us i think close to $150. Just recently we had a swarm of bees forming a hive-like formation the size of a large watermelon on our lemon tree. We were thinking of hiring an exterminator again but after some research a DIY method is to spray vinegar solution on the bees at night with proper protection. These beekeeping gloves provides the added confidence of protection from bee stings and the palm is very thick--other reviews say the glove fabric is very think from the wrist up--which is true--but not a problem as the full body beekeeping suit reaches to the rest to provide comprehensive protection. Will keep these gloves along with our full body beekeeping suit in storage for the next time we have a bee infestation.

Useful, sturdy, reasonable dexterity.

After finding a couple of brown recluses in one of my storage buildings, I thought of these since it protects from bee stings. I would had freaked out of a BR actually crawled up my arm. However, the contrasting white helped me be watchful. They are thick, yet ventilated. They would protect you from bees (or brown recluse).

VIVO Large Leather Beekeeping Gloves with Sleeves do exactly what you want them to do -- they protect your hands and forearms from the bees. The gloves are thin enough that you can still easily grip tools and frames, but thick enough that bees can't penetrate them. The gloves are white in color and the elastic at the end keeps them in place nicely.I will mention that the sizing is a little off and the large gloves fit more like a men's medium. You might want to order up one size if you're a guy.

I like the color, the texture, and the length of the glove. However, the finger length was unusually short.

The cotton sleeve and hand fabrics are quite thin and I thought stings would get through. I gave them a try for the fall honey harvest and although the hand fabric took several stingers, I felt nothing. A+ there. Average size lady and I purchased a small, fit is pretty good. They do not smell like goatskin, they smell like rubber and make your your hands stink even after washing up. Is it leather? I’m not sure. 4/5 rating because of that.

I was not expecting much when I bought these and that's basically what I got. These were purchased August 2020.About a week after they arrived the stiching around the elastic on the arm cloth released. This was a fairly simple repair but should not have happened.Fast forward to June 2021 and the leather on the palm has worn through and ripped.I am not a professional bee keeper. I have 7 hives and I check them roughly once a week. Given the winter is a time of zero activity these gloves gave me about 2 months of continuous use.Pretty poor performance. I would not recommend these and I will not be purchasing them again.

Gloves are 100% leather good quality, size small size 7 glove. Fits good. Smells like leather not noticeable strong. I had to smell the gloves to comment on the scent.Stitching is good. Cotton sleeve gives good coverage goes above my elbow.Loose enough that it's not right against my arms.I just received my gloves today, I haven't used them yet. I have to get some bees. I would buy these gloves again and recommend them.

I have fairly large hands and normally order extra large but ordered Large by mistake. Happy, they fit perfectly and are of excellent quality

Not bad for a first pair of gloves! Made it through two years of beekeeping and only now has a hole near the elbow elastic. Pretty good for the price.
