I would never have thought it was true that a hair dryer made a difference in how your hair looked and held it's style but this is a game changer! I have shoulder length hair and a TON of it. Even my hairdresser comments on how much hair I have and she's been styling cutting it for 40+ years. (We were both young, she slightly older than me.) This hairdryer has changed my life. First it's LIGHT...if you have had the same hairdryer for the last 15 years like me this is a revelation! Not only is it light it's tiny! High velocity means a much shorter drying time! I went from 20+ minutes to 5! And the best is NO FRIZZ! Yes, a lot of hair that likes to Frizz but not when it gets dry this fast! I am thrilled! I was hesitant to spend this much money on a hairdryer. 15+ years ago I thought $38 was a lot for that hair dryer then I did the math and it cost me a little over $2 a year so if this lasts that long with inflation and technological advancement it will be worth it. Honestly I hope it does last that long but even if it only lasts half as long it will more than pay for itself just in the time I will have saved this year alone and I will only have had it for 5 months, never mind the electricity I will be saving!

They say you get what you pay for!! Well, I've been looking at this hair dryer for weeks, trying to decide if I should spend that kinda money on a hair dryer? Total game changer!! You get to pick 3 attachments which ive pictured. The one that is on the hair dryer smooth your hair after drying! It's amazing and my hair dried in half the time! As I get older with arthritis in my hands the dryer is light weight and the plug is very durable. The cold and hot settings work great with enough power to dry long thick hair. Perfect fro straightening your hair but versatility to do so much!

After years of insisting on keeping my hair au naturel (read: alternatively frizzy and greasy) I've finally given in to playing around with multi-styling tools. Hair dryers I've tried in the past have been less stylers and more noisy hot air blasters that somehow leave your hair damp but also crispy. But boy has technology improved over the last ten years! First impressions: this thing is so light and lovely to hold I felt like I was waving a magical wand over my hair. I used the QuickSmooth Brush first and it dried each section in one quick sweep, which genuinely amazed me. Then I tried the Rapid Gloss Finisher and it actually smoothed out the flyaways. I've never considered myself one of "those girls" with polished, sleek hair but maybe now I am! I tried the Turbo Concentrator too but that's a little above my pay grade for now. I think I need to invest in a good barrel brush before I can figure that one out. For what it’s worth, I have long wavy hair. It’s thin but there’s lots of it. The real test will be surviving a humid NY summer night, but even if it looks half as good by the end of the evening I'll be happy. If you've been burnt (maybe literally) by dinosaur hair dryers, I'd encourage you to give this a try. It's a little pricier than I'd like but it's worth paying that premium for a premium Shark hair tool. Highly recommend for anyone just starting out with styling tools!

I have been using a regular style Revlon blow dryer for probably a decade and I finally decided I needed something new to help with a new (disappointing) hair cut. My hair is thick and wavy - currently it's off the shoulders by quite a bit which can make blow outs even more difficult - fighting with big ringlets underneath to loose waves at the top. But this dryer made that a breeze!! I purchased this dryer and a Lange ring dryer for comparison, the Lange dryer made my bathroom lights flicker like a strobe light but the Shark did not. Also, the Lange made my hair feel very dehydrated which I haven't experienced before, and the handle felt really large in my small hands. I like the Shark dryer so much much, it's easier to use, the handle is the perfect size, it's very light, quiet and the attachments are excellent. I also like the heat and power setting, I don't even have to go to the highest setting of any to get a great result. The cord is nice and long as well.

I was in need of a new blow dryer since I let my hair grow out over the last yr & a half. My favorite website byrdie that I get recommendations from suggested this blow dryer. I like the attachments a lot. Especially the rounded one that heats up. The buttons are not in the way of holding it like some blow dryers have. It's not heavy nor too loud to annoy me. My hair has turned out much nicer than from using my old one. There's not too many options available for mounts for it and the accessories tho. A friend made a holders for me using a 3d printer that works for now.

I was able to get rid of my dryer brush, curling iron and 2 straighteners. My blow-dry time was cut in more than half. Frizz be gone for good! This was a smart purchase for me. I have medium thickness hair and it took less than 2 mins to dry (long). Kind of noisy but I don’t mind that. Heat settings are perfect. Doesn’t weigh much at all. Easy to use and not uncomfortable to hold. The attachment can move around easily for your particular hold comfort. Definitely recommend

I had high hopes for the Shark SpeedStyle Hair Dryer, especially with all the hype surrounding it, but it was a major disappointment. The biggest reason I bought it was for the RapidGloss Finisher attachment, which claims to help reduce frizz and add shine. Unfortunately, I didn't notice any meaningful reduction in frizz compared to my regular hair dryer. My hair looked pretty much the same after styling. The QuickSmooth Brush was also underwhelming. Instead of giving me a smooth, polished blowout, it struggled to smooth my hair and left me needing to go back in with other styling tools to get the results I wanted. Another huge annoyance is the power cord. It has a large rectangular box built into it that feels bulky and awkward. It constantly bumped into my vanity, chair, and other items while I was styling, making the whole experience more frustrating than it needed to be. For the premium price, I expected much better performance and a more user-friendly design. In my experience, this dryer did not live up to the marketing claims. Save your money and look at other options because this one simply wasn't worth it.

I’ve been using a redmington hair dryer for years now and the second this went on sale I bought it! I have long semi thin Asian hair. It usually takes me 15-20 minutes to rough dry and blow dry. With this shark hair dryer it cut it down to 9 mins and 20 seconds! Yes I timed it to see if it really cut down drying time and it does! It actually makes it enjoyable. The actual product itself is very aesthetic and heavy duty yet light. It’s made from high quality material that is easy to use. I think the noise level is pretty standard for a hair dryer especially on level 3 air. This thing is a power house! The heat settings are great, I use 3 heat the whole time and it doesn’t get too hot where it burns my scalp. The attachments are easy to use however they do get very hot after using on the highest heat and air for a few minutes. It leaves my hair so shiny and healthy. When I use a bonnet at night my hair looks very healthy! Definitely worth the buy if you’re looking for shiny healthy hair and cutting down drying time

Peinarse no podría ser más fácil. Mi rutina de 20min para alaciar y dar volumen a mi cabello se redujo a la mitad. Mi estilista/colorista me la recomendó muy por encima de cualquier otra en el mercado, incluida la carísima D y tenía toda la razón. Es fácil de usar, tiene gran potencia de aire y calor, no deja reseco ni maltrata mi cabello y cabe en cualquier maleta, incluso en la de cabina. La quiero mucho. Es importante recalcar que mi cabello naturalmente es ondulado y delgado.
