The taste is not the best, but I usually mask it with a couple of ounces of warm water and honey and once I get up to it I just take a spoonful but great product gives lasting energy and it actually works better overtime. The taste is awful, it is a headache to use, but I used it every day in my coffee since it arrived at my home. I use the gold serving spoon and drop a section of the shilajit completely into my coffee. I add honey, mullein, a bit of cream, and coconut oil every day. I don't know how to tell if there is any difference at all. A herbomineral drug, I think I can definitely claim that I have more energy. I have been waking up much earlier and I feel energized most of the day, all day, which is not my usual. I've been in a lot of pain due to a separated AC in my shoulder and it is supposed to help with pain, so I hope it is helping in that area. I haven't been sick at all, with the exception of a respiratory cold that lasted a couple weeks. I've gotten used to the taste and actually enjoy it in my coffee. I'm going to continue taking it.

This is my third bottle of shilajit, as well as the third brand to try. At first glance, this seems to be higher end...I surmise this by its packaging and the addition of a golden metal spoon instead of a few wooded sticks. There is a data sheet included telling you where/when/what. The product itself is a lot different from the past two brands. It is runny instead of tar-like. It tastes a million times worse that other shilajit. My husband refuses to take it for this reason. Now, I don't know what is good and what isn't. I've only had 3 jars/3 brands. The first two were tar like with an almost black licorice aftertaste. This one is...well, I don't really know how to describe it. It tastes the way cow manure smells. Or what the bottom of the compost bin smells like. No matter how good this brand may be, if I can't get my husband to take it then it does no good. I choke it down because I'm not wasting it.

The 💩 taste horrible and I didn't notice any difference so I quit taking it to give my tongue some dignity. I don't care what you put it in, if you have a tongue you're gonna taste it but if you have covid it's perfect

I've been using shilajit for years. (You don't take it constantly, it's best to cycle on and off). I bought this product in October when my usual brand was unavailable, and I did not try it until this week. This is clearly cut with something oily and disgusting, probably mineral oil. It is not a proper resin. It's important to know that shilajit is always an acquired taste. A good quality shilajit has a strong, smoky resin taste that is something like very thick smoked fermented tea. It's enjoyable when you are accustomed to it. This however tastes rancid, and is a liquid that slides right off the ridiculous fancy scoop that's included. The taste is truly awful, and because it is an oil and not a resin, it is almost impossible to get the taste out of your mouth afterward. I will never waste money on this brand again, I will always wait for a trusted seller to stock mine. If you have tried this brand and think that you do not like shilajit or that it does not work for you, I suggest trying again with a reputable seller. This brand comes in obnoxious unnecessarily fancy packaging with lots of "guarantees" printed on it, but anyone who is actually familiar with shilajit will be wildly disappointed. From the good reviews I imagine there must be someone selling this brand who actually sells proper shilajit, but this is where I purchased it, and you do NOT want to buy yours here. If I had opened it sooner I would have returned it, but now all I can do is order from a reliable source instead and throw this bottle away. I do not recommend this item to others. Please buy it somewhere else.

A friend of friend takes this in gummy sweets and swears by it. I thought i'd give it a try in its more natural form and looked around and after reading various reviews, I went for this particular brand. On receiving the very nicely packed jar, I opened it and yes it doesn't smell great. A sort of burnt oily plastic smell. It doesn't taste much better and has the consistancy of marmite. So I use the little supplied spoon by dunking it in the jar about a 3rd of the way up the spoon and then hanging the spoon into my milk frother which heats up the milk for my morning coffee and slowly dissolves the resin. In a hot sweet milky coffee, it adds 'something' and I actually like the taste. The very first time I took it, I could 'feel' something different. A subtle boost in energy maybe. It definately curbed apetite for me. I've now been taking it daily for a month just in the morning with my coffee and apart from losing just over a stone (or 16lbs), I do feel a bit more energised. Not 4 cans of Redbull energised but definately dont feel knackered in the afternoons like I used to. It hasn't upset my stomach at all, my sleep is unchanged but then I sleep well anyway and I can say I feel better than I did before I started using it as a supplement. Weirdly I prefer my coffee with a dollop of this stuff. I cerntainly recommend you try it.
