BBQ Patio Protector Mat (82 x 109cm)

We love these BBQ. The quality is excellent. Underneath the mat, there are, like little rubber spikes to stop it slipping, which is brilliant. I bought 3 of them but, I took the plunge and bought them, not really knowing what to expect & I’m so glad I did. I’ve just had my garden landscaped so now, no grass at all but, is fully laid with very expensive Brazilian (which actually DID come from Brazil) beautiful slabs. So I’ve had to buy everything for the garden including a new Big BBQ, but didn’t want the slabs to get damaged but didn’t know that we could get protection mats for going under a BBQ, so buying these, yes, at £29 sounds expensive but so glad I did & I would certainly recommend buying!

We stand our incinerator on the mat and it protects the immediate area. However we find that the ash from the incinerator spreads beyond the area of the mat and marks the patio although we can get off the stains. We will try to use it with the BBQ in the summer.

As someone else mentioned, this mat is quite small. I have a regular sized Weber BBQ and this mat isn't big enough to protect my paving stones from fat splatter. I was about to order a second one but they've bumped up the price by 33% in 2 days from £6 to £8, so I'll wait and see if it goes down again.I'd recommend looking for a larger mat in the first place.

Does what it says on the tin. No more splodges of fat staining my limestone patio.

Just wish I had purchased this product before using bbq on new patio. Now it serves to protect and cover small spillage that has evaded all cleaning products. Also needed 2 to cover the area required.

Love this mat, use it under a fire pit to protect the decking , still doused the boards around it with water as a precaution but it's a good size and rolls up for storage.

Good mat, we use it for a heavy smoker and it’s doing the job just fine. No movement or slips. Patio is well protected
