Great Gift for an Outdoorsman

Works great
I bought last year's model, but this is a great night vision tool for the money.It's a little shock sensitive and it will take a second to focus manually, but the images are clear and the IR doesnt scare the wildlife like a flashlight may.Make sure you adjust the brightness before using so it wont ruin your night vision outdoors! And maybe buy a spare battery.

Handy to see what My Dog is Barking at!
This is a good, low cost "nightvision" monocular. It is not true nightvision in that without the illuminator it has no starlight or light amplification capability, which has become pretty common these days with most units on the market. However that doesn't mean that it isn't useful, just something to be aware of. The image is clear and it is handy to scan my yard to see what my dog is barking at. Does have a learning curve, but reading the instructions helps (something I rarely do)
