Nothing like chip shop batter
Sadly nothing like the real thing it also sticks to whatever pan you are cooking in like CRAZY and makes some amount of mess. I deep fried fish done in this batter and it completely stuck to the wire basket and couldn't get it off for love nor money. Wouldn't buy again

I'm not as enthused as most reviewers seem to be, as I felt that, although the taste was okay, it was kinda soggy when fried golden. I've made better, crispier fish batter myself (very easy from scratch) and wouldn't buy this again.
