Quick and easy to set up.

Bought 2 in less than a month. Neither lasted more than a few weeks. Worked perfectly to begin with, within a week or two some buttons only work intermittently, the remote stops working every few hours until you take the batteries out and now the directional buttons don’t work at all so I can’t use my tv.

I have a Toshiba Fire TV and the original remote was always stiff. I decided to purchase a spare and so got this one. Initially I thought this wasn't working. For some reason the "home" button didn't work and the "back" button was hit and miss. However.....if you go to "settings" and select "remotes and devices" it asks you if you want to pair a second remote. I followed the instructions and now the remote works absolutely fine. In fact much better than the original. It obviously some sort of cheapy version but it would have been handy to have some form of instructions in it's packet.

I recently purchased the VINABTY CT-8565 Replaced Voice Remote Control for my Toshiba TV on 1st September 2023 from Amazon, and I have never been more disappointed in a product. It's safe to say that this remote has been nothing short of a nightmare since the day it arrived.I struggled for a few hours but finally managed to get it working. On 14 October, six weeks after purchase, it stopped working completely. I changed batteries several times and followed the instructions from the manual to no avail.I then tried to initiate an item replacement via Amazon and was told, ”This item is no longer eligible for return. The return window closed on 2 Oct, 2023.Please DO NOT waste your time with this item. The reviews speaks volumes.1. The build quality of this remote is abysmal2. It failed to sync with my TV despite trying numerous timesI would strongly advise against purchasing this TV remote control. It's a poorly constructed, frustrating, and inefficient device that will bring you nothing but stress.

I set this up as a second remote for my fire TV. Set up was as easy as pressing the 'home' button and waiting for a few minutes. I had to update the 'voice control' in settings and I was fully set-up.

As with many other reviews, this remote is garbage. The buttons are poor quality and the remote failed after 3 days.Read the reviews and don't buy this. You are wasting your time and money.
