Heavy Duty Security Chain, 6 Foot x 3/8" Thick Hardened Steel Cut Proof Anti-Theft Lock Chain for Motorcycles, Bicycles, ATVs, Trailers, Containers

I bought the 6ft (2m) chain and that is enough. Anything longer would be too heavy to carry around. And with the large O ring, you can basically double the length of the chain in those rare cases you need to. 6ft is the ideal length.

I bought this chain to lock up my electric bike at the apartment where I live and have to store it downstairs. It is HEAVY and I was impressed. Bought another, shorter one for locking my bike away from home.

This 6 foot chain works well for locking two ebikes onto a car bike rack and to the trailer hitch. The large ring is great for threading the chain through itself so that there is enough length to reach the trailer hitch on the car. We use two of theses chains, one for the front of the bikes and one for the frame and rear wheels. The links are large enough to accomodate a 16mm rubber coated ubolt lock. The cloth surrounding the chain keeps us from scratching the bikes. The cloth snaps onto the chain links but is hard to snap unless you use some plyers. Its a sturdy chain and heavy without being too bulky.

This is NOT a space saver model. I have not tried to defeat it and as far as I know, neither has anyone else. Just its appearance and heft would probably deter most bike thieves and send them on their way to an easier target. I doubt King Kong could snap it ... It feels very solid, and the links seem to be well made. It does cost a bit but is cheaper and less hassle than buying a new bike bc yours was stolen.

Lock and chain both look ti be good quality.

I love the ring on the lock so I can pull the chain though it. I like that its real long so I can go through both my tires of my scooters. It comes with a carry bag which is useless for me. I will use to to put my extra keys for my ulocks and other padlocks. I have 2 Onguard chains but wanted one with a ring on it. 👍

This feels like the real deal. Bolt cutters won't touch it a grinder will cut it but it's slow going. Works perfect for our side gate.

No messing around with this chain. I can’t imagine any thief having the time or energy it would take to cut the chain. I expect there’d be a fair bit of noise too.
