Happy with their longevity, and back for more
=== ADDITIONAL & NEW INFO, FROM 2021-10-15 ===The newest 3 pictures were added with this text today, as I have ordered & just received a new pair of these boots.I was able to wear my old pair of these boots through 3 full winters. It is nearly 3 years since I first purchased them to the DAY (2018-10-21 vs 2021-10-15) and I continue to be very pleased with their construction. These boots easily surpassed my expectations for longevity, and have without a single doubt become my favorite winter/work boot.If your shoes fall apart really fast because you drop stuff on your feet at work all the time, consider that may be the fault of your work environment, and not your boots. If your shoes fall apart after a season because the leather has dried and cracks apart, consider that you should be maintaining them. They have 100% leather uppers, being subjected to moisture, pressure, and friction a daily basis — they'll dry, crack, and wear out if you don't take at least SOME care of them!!I gave these boots what I would consider the bare minimum of upkeep. I brushed off street salt when there was so much that I could see it built up. I applied leather lotion at the beginning of winter-weather season, when I start wearing these every single day, and also at the end of winter-weather season, before they get put on my shoe rack for use on rainy days only.I've walked almost certainly well over a thousand miles in my old pair, and I'm certain I'll get that sort of longevity out of the new ones. Heck, the old boots' leather uppers are still pliable and watertight — the worn-out sole is the only reason I need new boots, and the soles of all shoes wear out, that's just a fact of life.I will say, fresh out of the box, I think the new boots' leather may be a bit dry. I'll be putting leather lotion on them and that should knock that problem out.Overall verdict: These are great boots. They're so great that if it wasn't for how hot the summers get where I am, I'd wear them for the summers, too. I'd absolutely buy them again — and in fact, I literally just did.=== ORIGINAL REVIEW TEXT, FROM 2021-03-09 ===I'm now past two years of owning these boots (bought them 2018-10-21, it is now 2021-03-09). I bought a half-size down from my size in athletic sneakers and they fit great. I've got feet that tend to be flat and end up aching without good arch support, so I replaced the insoles with some Dr. Scholl's extra-arch-support inserts. If you have flatter feet, I'd highly recommend doing the same.I'll say I don't work in a warehouse environment and don't drop heavy stuff on my feet literally every day, but they seem great to me, and have stood up to their fair share of occasional drops and the harsh weather treatment. Especially compared to the single-winter's lifespan I got out of other work boots I've bought before, which had their soles peel off, not even damage to the upper body construction of the boots. My commute to work includes a mile of walking at a minimum, depending on if I bum rides home from my buddies, frequently including more walking around the campus I work on. I also often stand at my desk at work. These have proven, with the arch-support insert I added anyway, to be quite comfortable, and the fact that I still wear them over two years later is a testament to a durable construction.A far sight more durable than some of the reviews I see where they somehow fall apart in short order. I don't know what sort of work you'd have to be doing in these to have them fail in a matter of months. Considering how I've mostly neglected regular care for these boots while I've had them, I can only describe these boots failing in a matter of months as a sign of far-harsher-than-average use, or a bad-luck-of-the-draw defective pair.If you don't tend to burn through shoes like your fallen branches and leaves at a campfire, I think you'll find these are wonderfully durable, especially for the price.I wear mine daily as soon as shorts weather ends, all winter long, as well as on particularly rainy days during the rest of the year.I've recently had to replace the laces since I tie my boots really tight and they were starting to wear out, but other than that, applying leather lotion twice a year, towards the end and beginning of winter, has kept these in great shape for me. That, and the occasional brushing off of the salt accumulation, when there's absolute tons of it caked on the sides of the boots. The treatment these boots get in the winter is pretty harsh considering they're leather, getting road and sidewalk salt on them, walking through snow and mush (since being able to do that was the whole point of buying waterproof slip resistant boots..), walking over sheets of ice, etc. They've done a great job of keeping my feet dry, and my rear off the ground.Assuming Wolverine hasn't completely changed how they're constructing these boots, and there aren't counterfeits of them floating around (you'd be surprised what some Amazon sellers and suppliers try to get away with), I'd buy these again with absolute confidence. They've now carried me through two full years. I paid $90 after tax for them back in 2018, and I'd pay that for them again if I were needing a new pair now. It looks like they're cheaper than that now, though, and I'd highly recommend them for the price.

Second pair, first fell apart
After nearly six year's of nearly everyday wear the Goodyear welt sole came loose from the upper on the right foot. I believe from my foot position while driving. Just don't think it's ment to be positioned in the manner I feel comfortable with, since sole showed little real wear, I thought I'd give a second pair a try. These were the first, non steel toes boots since I retired hope the second pair last as long as the first.

Fair price question durability.
Fairly comfortable and reasonably priced++Quality a little thin, leading me to question durability.Time will tell.

Happy enough to buy it a second time
I am happy enough with the boots to order them a second time. I have no complaint. I wear the boots about every other day and my first pair has lasted over a year and a half so far. I think that they will last another half a year to a year. My second pair is a back-up when the first pair's soles get too worn.

A boot that taps
My husband likes these 6inch boots for construction work but something went wrong with the manufacturing of this boot recently. We have bought it a few times over the years but this past year the boots rubber base was different. It was hard and as you step it made a tap sound, which my husband doesn’t like- he doesn’t want the entire world to know he’s walking. So we decided to return and went with a another brand. These are a soft toe boot, quality of this boot is good, the inside handles well for a year but we always buy a quality insert for the heal and arch, the leather hide is water resistant to a minimum but you can seal it with crude oil or mink oil and you are good to go for a while, the laces for this boot last only a good year which isn’t bad considering the 365 days, of loops and knots, and finally the rubber base has lasted a good 1.5 years before showing wear. If you don’t mind a tip tapping boot and lasts through all the bending then these boots will be good for you. In all fairness, it is possible the boots rubber base has changed, so do give it a try.

Solid boot for what it’s worth
Got this pair of boots for less than $100. I didn’t really expect a whole lot from them, just that they keep my feet dry and protected. I’ve had them for a few months now and they’ve held up pretty good. I can see how I’m tougher conditions this may not be the best option, but if you just need a boot to protect your toes, these do the job pretty good for what they are worth.

Fits and well made.
This is a heavy well made boot. Waterproof. Great boot for when I go to the woods on our farm. Insoles not great but easily replaced.if you don’t like a heavy boot then it’s not for you.

Very comfortable right out of the box.
No inserts or orthotic required! So comfortable, well made and light on my feet!

Great for, well constructed, comfortable from the box.
I have previous had Timberland classic 6 inch (looked beautiful but the sole peeled away as it was only glued and not stitched) and Caterpiller WP Boots (loves them to bits fro a number of years but they were not indestructible) .I have had these Wolverine Floorhands for a fortnight now - and they are amazing. The construction and look is top. The soft tongue makes them much more comfortable than others boots I have had. The fitting (US10) is a good fit for a UK9 and it is a wide fitting - no more having to loosen the laces to get my stupid wide, hobbit feet in. I did ‘scotchguard’ then out of the box, they have a great colour and they are developing some real character now. I would definitely recommend these.

Solid well made boots, but you're going to need to buy some insoles separately
I'm quite happy with the style and the construction of these boots. High quality all around. They fit a bit large, but (for reasons I'll get to) that brings me to the major problem I have with them: the insoles. It offers a bizarrely small amount of padding. You will almost certainly want to purchase some insoles for them. I tend to buy these things anyway, so it's not a deal breaker for me. To get back to the sizing, once I placed the new insoles in the fit was perfect. The end result was a very comfortable boot.I don't know if I'd recommend them fully due to this weird flaw, but if you don't mind spending another fifteen bucks or whatever, it's a solid choice.

Very comfortable
Fit perfect out of the box. I am a 10.5 with a d width. Almost went with the wide and glad I didn't. As other reviews you need higher socks or they will rub raw at the top of the boot. I expect that to go away as they break in.

VERY comfortable boots in WIDE sizes
Pros:- Wide widths - Thank You Wolverine!!! This is my #1 reason for buying Wolverines.- Comfort- Fit great with little breaking needed- Look great, and long lasting leather- Reasonable longevity (first pair lasted well over 10 years of casual use)- Non-marking light colored solesCons:- Amazon - "Lost" the first order. Second order I had to exchange due to size, and Amazon only gave me a partial refund, even thought I was within the stated refund period.- My ONLY con on the boots themselves is the glue down method of sole attachment. My first pair would still be fine - except the glue finally gave out and the leather separated from the sole. Would be fantastic to see a nice Goodyear welt, but alas, we get glue.
