There are many like this. But my wife likes this one because you can freely froth by just lifting your finger off the button as opposed to a previous one I bought her that was a click button.

This frother comes in a beautiful bright blue color and has a small silver-colored stand for easy storage on your kitchen counter top. It operates simply by pushing its one button and inserting it into your beverage. The pressure applied to the button adjusts the frother's speed. I found it a bit challenging at times to apply the desired pressure so that my beverage wouldn't spill out of its cup or glass—but not so much so that it negatively impacts my view of the item. Its fast spinning capability should make it easy to mix thicker items like smoothies or drinks with protein powder and other thicker liquids. Its size is substantial enough so that it doesn't feel dinky or uncomfortable in my hands.A family member initially found it confusing to insert the batteries but I thought it was pretty simple (there are instructions provided). The only (somewhat major) downside is that I REALLY wish it were rechargeable as I feel I've seen other ones that are. However, I plan to use rechargeable batteries to make things easier. All in all, it's a very useful kitchen gadget that can be used to mix a variety of liquids.

I ordered this because I have an addiction to iced coffee at a certain coffee chain, and my Husband groans that I spend too much $$ on something I could easily make myself. Okay, BET.I bought some coffee, creamer, and syrup and set out to make my favorite drink, but first, I needed a frother for that creamy cold foam. There are lots of similar products, but I was intrigued by the product description, sleek design, and it appeared to be well made.When I received my FrothBlast, I was super excited. It operates on AA batteries (not included) and comes with a convenient stand for storage when not in use.I set out - for once in our marriage - to see if I could prove my Husband right. Let the record reflect - the FrothBlast has enabled me to make my own iced coffees to the perfection and creaminess I was previously paying someone else big bucks for.In my video, I was frothing about a quarter cup of French vanilla coffee creamer. The FrothBlast quickly and easily frothed up the creamer to over double the volume I started with within 20 seconds - smooth, foamy, creamy, and oh, so good. I looked more giddy than the woman pictured in the listing! HA!This is a powerful little sucker! I’ve been experimenting with it and have also used it to whip cream, and pretty sure if I did it long enough, I could churn out some butter. I LOVE this thing - I keep finding things to use it for - from coffee, to mixed drinks, to cooking and making sauces. It’s even great to use to make the blue box of macaroni & cheese - I leave the stick margarine at room temp while I cook the noodles (or even nuke it a few seconds), then when I’m ready for the cheese, I add the milk and margarine to a bowl, and use the FrothBlast to mix that up with the cheese powder, and it takes that old favorite to the next level - I pour that cheese sauce over the noodles and it is oh so creamy! I’ve also used it to make a quick homemade Alfredo sauce! (Now I’m hungry and want to play with my new gadget again!)It’s easy to clean and thanks to the included stand, easy to store. Just a word of advice - make sure the business end is below the surface of the liquid you’re going to mix before you turn it on, because if you turn it on and then put it in the liquid, you’re gonna get misted!I ONLY gave this 4 stars because the button you hold down when using it is a little bit tight, but I easily found a position that worked well for my hand.This is a well-made product from quality materials, and I am so thrilled I have it in my kitchen now. (And believe me, so is my Husband and our budget!)

Be sure you have a good grip on the device and be ready for any splash overs! This little thing sure has a lot of power to it! The first time I used it I almost wore a lot of the milk I was frothing. It took me quite by surprise!Now that I have the hang of it, I like it and it makes a very nice frothed milk!

This frother is compact, easy to use and surprisingly powerful. It takes 2 AA batteries. The frothing power is awesome, and makes a nice addition to my coffee bar. We have also used it to mix hot chocolate and instant coffee. The stand makes it possible to leave out on a counter. This is a must for any coffee enthusiasts.
