Altapolo old S-M Hernia Belts for Men and Women

I have an untreated inguinal hernia and was experiencing noticeable discomfort. I really wanted to play 9 holes of golf but wasn’t sure I would be able to do it. I ordered this support belt and noticed the improvement immediately I was able to play nine pain free holes! Even better yet, the hernia was still quiet and barely noticeable after I removed the belt. I intend to have the hernia repaired but in the meantime I’m very thankful for this product.

Take a look at the photos. The "belt" is a wide band that goes around your waist. Specifically, look at the photo of the rear. Understand that at your backside the belt will not be flat against your body when there is tension on the loop that connects the narrow tensioning support that goes under and to the front of the pad. The photo is deceptive. There is no way the belt will remain flat. It will bunch up as the loop pulls it down so that in effect the belt will be less than a half an inch in width. You can attempt running your thumb along the belt behind you to flatten it, but it will return to its bunched state in short order. As such, it is not comfortable.

Makes living with hernia easier; not aware of it most of the time.

Found it very difficult to put on. The product was purchased for an Inguinal Hernia. Will try to use an Ace bandage to apply pressure.

Not comfortable……gave to friend.
