This is more for looks than performance. The color just makes me smile when I sit down at home studio. Also easy to see in peripheral vision.

If you want a colorful foam wind screen/pop filter for your SM7b, it's ok. Not as good as the stock Shure one and doesn't have any sort of fitment plastic ring like the stock one. You just kinda slide and stretch it on until it fits. I wouldn't be rough with it as it feels like it might tear with too much force, but once it's on it pretty much stayed in place. Isn't really as bright "neon green" as the one in the picture. Slightly more subdued, but still definitely shouts "I LIKE GREEN MICROPHONES!" to the world. Works ok.

I purchased for an MV7+ as others said the SM7b filters came further off the microphone to create an air gap between the filter and microphone. I'm the case of this specific filter I found that not to be the case. It is also thinner on both the sides and the top of the filter. I will be returning it and purchasing an RK345 for just a few extra dollars.

The green is a prettier shade in real life, and the top portion is slightly thicker than their original on SM7B which makes it slightly better at blocking plosives, and ofc it fits.

It is what it says it is. But Amazon says perfect fit for HyperX quadcast. That is a lie
