This is great for anyone with a small car that lacks cell phone spots or an extra cup holder. While the cupholder is on the small size (not good for some of those large insulated bottles) it is DEFINITELY good for standard sized cups etc. I have only 2 cup holders in my new Lexus UX and this was a lifesaver. It's a small car and the best part is that I can keep it there when I am alone (I put it on the passenger side of the console) and and throw my cell phone in, a few papers, and my drink, and then if it gets in the way when I have someone else in the car, I just pop it out and throw it in the back. It is not difficult to move, which is key. It isn't super "tight" when you put it in but it doesn't have to be in order to be effective. Definitely a good purchase for me!

I have an '09 Subaru Outback and I bought one of these for the passenger side as I have a stick shift with the e-brake on the driver side, I thought it would be in the way. I got this mostly for the cup holder because I only have two. The cup holder of this item is SMALL. It would not fit my 20oz Hydro flask travel mug. In fact I would venture to say the only thing that would fit is maybe a 12 oz bottled water or a small travel container of hand sanitizer. Also, the narrow bit that actually slides between the seat and console isn't wide enough or long enough to hold it securely in place. Wobbly. If a water bottle did fit in the cup holder, it would've been too heavy, causing it to tip over. It was loose enough that if I slammed on my brakes, it would end up on the floor. If you are only wanting this as a place to tuck your wallet and phone, it'd probably work alright. If you are buying it for a long solo road trip and want to stash your drink and french fries in...this ain't it.

None of the seats in the 3 cars i have are flat enough for this to sit and not slide or fit snug. Also one of them came broken. I returned almost immediately.

The extra cupholder and extra storage is great

The cup holder only holds a 12-oz can of soda. If you have a insulated bottle that is probably 16 to 20 oz. It won't fit. Maybe with a fairly narrow bottom. I buy the Sam's club 20 oz bottle of water and it fits very snuggly. Then when you pull the water out, the whole thing comes with it. Just too small, snug. Also the spacer that is supposed to hold it in place is very small. It needs to be bigger to create the leverage that holds it between your seat and the center console. I'm returning it. The one positive I can say is that it seems built to be of decent quality.

I had a vehicle that did not have much storage space in the center console. This was easy to put on the passenger side of the vehicle and was narrow enough to not to intrude on the passengers space. You can keep whatever small items you want in it and it fits pens nicely. I did NOT trust the soda can container on the end, it sat too close to the seat edge so I was nervous that it would tip, so I never put a drink in there and just used my cars drink holders. It stayed in place and did well holding miscellaneous small items over the years.

Very disappointed, it does not fit well.

Does the purpose.. just the red threading is not a matching with car interior .. shd be white or black
