I was a little hesitant buying a stereo for under $40, it didn't disappoint. Touch screen world great and the remote is super helpful. Android Auto works perfectly. The only thing I would suggest is to buy the harness adapter for your vehicle. It makes installing much easier.

Honestly, I'm quite surprised that this radio is actually working as advertised. I have been connecting wirelessly to Android Auto without any issues. I have not tested CarPlay, but I can't imagine it wouldn't work just as good as Android Auto. Now I almost gave this 3-Stars for a couple of reasons but decided on 4 because the price is a good indicator that you will run into some issues. One issue being that the radio does not come with any bolts to secure a dash kit to the side bolt holes on the unit. I don't believe the dash kit (I used Metras for my 2005 F150) should have come with these bolts as I imagine manufacturers would have different sizes for their mounting holes. Regardless, I got lucky and found some random bolts that I had saved from other projects. Now going back to the dash kit, this head unit did not fit in my dash kits opening indicating to me that this head unit is not exactly standard sized double din. I managed to force it through the kits opening and while holding it in place secure the radio to my kit using those bolts I had found. Once that was all done, install was a breeze. Now for the wiring part, the included instruction manual came with a pinout reading indicating to me what all wires went where. The only thing I would have changed was to make it color coded. I had to double-triple check each time which wire I was soldering so color coding could have made it a bit more helpful. One more thing, the Headlamp wire on the radios harness is green. This was a bit confusing because this wire is for illumination meaning that when you turn the headlights on it will dim the radios screen. It's common for wiring harnesses that you buy separately for this wire to be orange or white/orange. So, it feels wrong for that green wire to not match up to another green wire but that is what will need to be done or else you will be attaching that green wire to a green speaker wire.

This Double Din Car Stereo with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto was easy to install as long as you have the correct wiring harness for your vehicle. In order to fully utilize the GPS features, you need to connect it with your phone for navigation since it doesn't have its own maps. Recommended as long as you know its limitations.

This is awesome character stereo, super easy to install. They give you everything you need as far as wires go. As long as you can get your dash apart, you can install this no problem. If it fits the dash of course. I guess by chance, or the makers of this radio were thinking, but this fit perfectly in my 2001 Monte carlo. And what It upgraded it is from the Factory tape deck that was still there. Have to removing the faceplate of the dash removal of the old car stereo and installation of this one was seamless, Zero problems. It works great, and runs on Android auto or the iOS system. I have Android so I don't really know anything about that side of it. But with Android it is really easy to use especially with your phone's Bluetooth. It also comes with a backup camera, that is a little bit more fun to install LOL, but still not bad. Fairly simple installation for a great feature. This is a great option if you are looking to upgrade from Factory as well, and it's the right size of course. But if it is I highly recommend this one, it is a great radio, and a great price.

Sound is terrible. Sounds like you are trapped in a tin can. The harness is cheap wire. The loudness button is horrific. The radio reception works for like 2 stations. Don't waste your time. Look elsewhere.

This isn't normally something that i would get for myself, but with a nice conversation about what I like and need while driving.......I found this little gadget! First and foremost, I'm no technical genius, and though this thing does so many neat things... even i can keep up with it! I LOVE the screen mirror feature, meaning whatever is on my phone is on the screen! The nice size screen might I add, 7 inches! Screen is very clear, easy touch screen (no pecking), bright, and easy to navigate! I'm using this with my android so i use v the AndroidAuto app. Turns out i didn't need to get a different wiring harness either! Very easy install, overall less than 30min! I also love the eq setting, where I can customize my sound just to my liking! I'm still learning more and more about what it does and I couldn't be happier! Oh and what a treat.... the backup camera makes me very happy! I feel like a much more confident driver having this! This is something that everyone needs for their car! Really helpful and up to date!
