Boschlaser measure PLR 40 C (measure distance up to 40m precisely, Bluetooth connectivity, measurement functions)

If you're measuring up to something it's a million times easier than a tape measure and just as accurate. Set the back of the device flush with the end and press the button.The best thing about it though is the trig function that let's you measure the height of something from the floor even when there are obstacles in the way. Put the device on the floor out past the object, point the laser on the wall where you want to measure and press the button. It know the angle and the distance and calculates the height for you. Great if there's a worktop in the way that would make it tough to measure.If you just want to measure your furniture or cut some wood to length nothing beats a tape measure, but this thing is seriously handy, and even has an app that remembers your measurements for you.

Pros; ease of use, accuracy, different modes, and I like the app and their bluetooth connection. I can take a picture of a room then draw arrows on the photo. Tap an arrow/line then measure that and it populates directly in App. Perfect for doing rough sketches how much material you need.Cons;Bluetooth connectivity a bit iffy sometimes. Disconnects for no reason. But works most of the time

If you just want to measure things, and don't mind finding out that a wall that you thought was a nice 90 degree is in fact slightly less or more, or if you use the app to find that your room isn't fully square it's great.Bluetooth connectivity is easy, though bit of a pain to use mobile + measure at the same time as I kept accidentally pressing a part of the screen which resulted in the Bluetooth turning off. but after figuring that out, as well as that you should first draw the line in the app and then measure it'll auto assign the length to that instead of you having to select it from recent measures.The app also only collects the last measure while it's connected, so to my knowledge you can't go around without Bluetooth on and measure a room to then come back and load it in, you'll need to be connected through Bluetooth the whole time. Which i think is a missed usecase here.I've managed to measure my house, rooms and garden nicely and it's nice to easily come back to it.Though as mentioned because of a missing feature it makes it quite a bit more annoying figuring out if you made an error or if 1 or more walls aren't quite the 90 degrees it pretended to be.It doesn't measure Horizontal angles at all, only vertical angles. Though if you don't mind some Pythagoras math you can figure it out but you'd have to do this for every single corner.Speaking of the app, it's great for large distances, but an absolute pain for the smaller distances if you have bumps (pillars) in the wall of less than 20cm it will be a pain drawing that line, and getting it in place and often when you manage it'll just overwrite it when you assign it the length you just measured because it seems to think to know better.You also can't line up individual rooms nicely on the project overview to assemble a floor plan due to the white spaces around it which is a missed opportunity here considering it's a pain to add door post thick walls to a continuous internal plan.It's also not possible (at least to my knowledge) to add more to the drawings, it'll want 1 line drawing meeting up with itself, so forget playing around with an object within this floor plan, or account for skirting. in the end I decided to load this all up into a program on my pc.The laser measure itself though is good to use, battery is good to considering I've had Bluetooth on the whole time, the best thing however is that you no longer need 2 people to do simple measures, especially height or slopes where 1 person has to hold it in place lest you accidentally move it.Though maybe should've paid more for a horizontal angle, but on the other side wouldn't want to pay more considering I'm just a consumer and not a prosumer or professional, in the end it's a measuring tape without the tape and doesn't distances very well where you'd have to shuffle with a 3 meter tape to measure a 5m+ room for example.

This super 50m laser measure from Bosch is both well made and straightforward in its function.It's incredibly accurate and delivers precision results time and time again that can be trusted which makes it an essential part of my kit both on a professional level and within the home. Very easy to use and very useful for DIY projects saves so much time can even add and subtract measurements the colour screen is easy to read. The app however is a gimmick not really useful and turining the Bluetooth on drains the battery on this Bosch laser really quick. The biggest negative is the units are set in meters and this cannot be changed which is disappointing when many cheaper devices can do this.

It was very accurate. Until I dropped it about 1 meter. Then the laser came loose inside and it never worked again.

J’ai apprécié- compacte et léger- écran lisible (pour les quinqa presbytes comme moi …)- mesure rapide et précise- appli smartphone qui permet de faire des plan de pièce cotés- pas de PythagoreJe regrette- modèle prévu pour une portée de 50 m : au delà de 25 m il ne faut pas que le temps soit trop ensoleillé, sinon pas de mesure possible. À 45 m c’est laborieux : il faut très bien stabiliser le télémètre et pas de soleil, sinon pas de mesure- l’application permet de coter une seule pièce, impossible de faire le plan ou le croquis d’un appartement, dommageMalgré ces points à améliorer aucun regret

Ideal zum Ausmessen von Räumen. Jeder Handwerker arbeitet mit so einem Gerät. Ob Innenmessung zwischen zwei Flächen, oder von einer Kante zu einer Fläche, einfach Meßart wählen und los gehts. Leichtes Bedienen, gut ablesbar. Sehr gut.
