Great product
The Vivid Retinol Capsules are a dietary supplement that has a pleasant taste and is easy to swallow. Retinol, which is a derivative of Vitamin A, is one of the key ingredients of these capsules. It is known for its ability to neutralize free radicals, which are harmful to the middle layer of the skin. Free radicals can cause skin damage and accelerate the ageing process.Retinol also stimulates the production of elastin and collagen, which are essential proteins that keep the skin firm, supple, and youthful-looking. As we age, the production of these proteins slows down, resulting in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and enlarged pores. The use of Retinol helps to counteract these effects by boosting collagen and elastin production, thus reducing the visibility of these signs of ageing.Overall, the Vivid Retinol Capsules are an effective way to improve the appearance of your skin and maintain its health and youthfulness.

Long History With Retinol - I'm A Believer!
I'm no stranger to Retinol and it's known as a skincare powerhouse ingredient. I've been a user for years. In fact, I remember when it first came on the market, as a skincare obsessed teen (late 1980s? - even Elizabeth Taylor said it was one product she used (*side eyes slightly*). The internet doesn't verify this as fact, so I'm beginning to wonder if I dreamt this (maybe it was Cher?).Anyway, I digress...Topical Vitamin A (Retinol) has proven benefits for breakouts and skin texture - though in its more powerful form (Retin A) it can be very irritating, even for the hardiest of complexions (been there, done that). Some time and patience are required to endure the 'flakies' phase. Understandably, most of us don't want to put up with dry patches on our face for weeks! So, skincare, in supplement form, is a great idea.Like others, I was concerned by the quoted 2400µg (300% reference intake / 8000 IU). However, a search informs me this is far too low to worry about:'(A toxic level of Vitamin A) ...can happen when an adult takes several hundred thousand international units (IUs) of Vitamin A. Chronic Vitamin A poisoning may occur over time in adults who regularly take more than 25,000 IU a day.'Best Before date is decent too: June 2026.Even at my vintage (early 50s, scrupulously using SPF most of my life and with a decent routine) I still get breakouts now and then. Not had any for a while, so I'm tentatively hopeful this is doing its stuff.

There is cheaper out there
This will be short and to the point.I ordered these as my 60 odd year old skin could do with a bit of TLC but I am just too old and lazy to start any kind of skincare regime. They got me with the "Edible Skincare" sloganWhilst they are soft gel capsules and easy to swallow they contain 10,000 IU of Vitamin A, this is the maximum recommended daily dose, and more can potentially be dangerous. As I already take Vitamin A supplements daily I have decided not to go any further with these and do feel there should be more clarity on the product listing.

Smalll soft gel pleasant to swallow
The soft gel is on the smaller end in compare to other softgel supplements. It is very easy and pleasant to swallow. The gel case taste pleasant and have a hint of sweetness. I have never tried Vitamin A supplements but I would like to see if there is any effect on skin, as there are so many skin care product putting Retinol into their product line. Before I only remember that Vit A is good for the vision. Retinol is a form of ready-to-use Vit A for the body. But I am not sure if that is needed if you have a balanced diet. This product is well packed and looks very fine. It have 60 softgels for a two month supply. But since the bottle is big, it is only less than half full.

Arrived sealed and contains 70 capsules
These are 2,400ug Retinol (Vitamin A is a family of which Retinol is a member) from Vivid.QR code on bottle will take you to their website, clearly do some checking, but the other products on offer seemed similarly priced. I would put these currently at slightly above what I would normally spend (these were free as part of Amazon Vine), but aren't expensive.Bottle had external seal and internal seal intact, did actually contain 60 capsules (I counted), so product was good in arrival.I currently take Retinol anyway, so I can't comment to any improvement from taking, but no reason to doubt it won't be as effective as previous product I've used. No real taste to it.It is slightly more than I would normally pay, but the link to the Vivid website is nice. The discounts there look to be the same as on the Amazon purchase.
