Works perfectly for restoring clouded solar cells.
I use several solar-powered lights in garden in my back yard. Over time, the plastic covering the solar cells have become so clouded and hazy that the lights no longer charged. While researching different methods of restoring these plastic covers, I stumbled across a YouTube in which a homeowner used Rust-Oleum Semi-Gloss clear spray to restore these plastic solar cell covers. Although the results looked too good to be true, I thought I'd give it a try before replacing all of my solar-powered lights. The results were nothing short of amazing. All of the plastic covers became crystal-clear immediatly after application and stayed that way ever since. 5 stars.

Easy to use clear coat
Used to clear coat some book holders I made. Cheaper than a polyurethane spray but less durable. But for what I was using for it worked perfectly. Dried clear and fast. Sand between coats for a smooth finish. Isn't completely water proof but will definitely seal in and protect the stain finish.

I found this to be perfect for touching up. I've used it for guitar necks, other things around the house. Dries in good time. gloss, matt,, simi, all work great.
