Heavy Duty Pressure Switch for Air Compressor 135-175 psi Four 4 Port 26 Amp

This is the second time I have had to change the pressure switch on my compressor. The first one was an Amazon cheap option. This one is pretty inexpensive but the build quality was noticeably better. Thicker plastic, better switches and valves. Easy to install and works like a charm. My silent compressor is finally silent again!

I recently picked up this Heavy Duty Pressure Switch for Air Compressor (135-175 PSI, Four 4-Port, 26 Amp) after my old factory switch on my 60-gallon compressor finally gave out. What a difference! This thing is built like a tank and got my shop compressor back up and running in no time. Installation was straightforward – the four 1/4" NPT ports lined up perfectly with my existing plumbing (two for unloader, one for gauge, one for safety valve). Wiring was simple too: clear terminals, plenty of room inside the cover, and it handles the 26-amp load of my 5HP motor without breaking a sweat. No overheating, no chatter – just solid, reliable performance from the first cycle. The best part? Adjustment is incredibly easy. The large spring and differential nut are smooth and precise. I dialed it in to cut-in at 135 PSI and cut-out at 175 PSI in under five minutes with just a flathead screwdriver – no fighting sticky threads or vague markings like on cheaper switches. It holds the settings perfectly, even after weeks of daily use in my busy garage. Since installing it, my compressor runs quieter, starts easier (thanks to the unloader port working flawlessly), and maintains pressure exactly where I want it. No more over-pressurizing or frequent cycling. Build quality is top-notch – heavy metal housing, sturdy lever, and it feels like it’ll outlast the compressor itself. So far it works good. I have a 7.5 HP 80 gallon ingersoll rand air compressor. The weight of the new switch is less than the original one, this could be due to the base metal being different. Outside of that, it seems to be decently built. After switching it with the original I figured out that the original unit had a reset built in that I couldn’t see. The entire top plastic where the electrical wires are, pushes down to reset it so it works properly again. I will keep it as a backup, lesson learned. It definitely is not the same quality as the original ($60) unit, but then again, this one was only $14.

Not rated for a compressor as large as mine but still working great

It was cheap as a bowl of water but it’s definitely not a long term replacement item, contact points stick together (too small for load rate) and the spring holding contacts is too thin and heat warped. It was a temporary fix so it did its job

Worked at first got it all adjusted to shut off at 150 psi.. Compressor shut off as it should once then would never turn back on.. Checked the switch and it is not passing through the power anymore, after 1 use.. Don't buy!!

Great item. Fits like a glove, got my compressor starting again. Recommend it for sure!!

I accidentally bought this without reading the pressure range I guess - As I didn't need a 175 psi switch. I was able to dial it down for my makita mac5200, to cut out @ 135 however. So it's working as I needed, straight forward replacement otherwise.
