Great book but bad service
The book and its contents are great. Beautifully illustrated with vivid pictures and explanatory sketches. I miss a little in-depth information, but then it’s not a highly scientific book. The annoying thing is that the delivery was too early (forth time already!), the book wasn’t packed properly and got damaged in the box (the box was undamaged). During return procedure, there’s no option for exchanging and the amount refunded is €4 less than what I paid. If I want to order the same title again I have to pay €7 extra than the original price… that’s not a good service! Hence my low rating.

Really huge book and really informative too! Love these kind of books from DK. Might be suitable for kids too

Wonderous
This is a large, heavy and beautiful hardback book, detailing some of Earth's ecosystems and the creatures that inhabit them.Full of great photos, illustrations, diagrams and information, it makes for the perfect 'coffee table book', easy to pick up and flick through, with something fascinating to discover on every page.A pleasant surprise for a book dealing in natural history is that it is relatively free from climate hysteria. no catastrophising, no prophecies of doom, we get a couple of pages early on that acknowledge the issues of climate change, pollution etc.. and that's it.I think this is a lovely book to own, it would make a great gift for anyone interested in nature, young or old.
