These kind of containers are very useful - we have some which we keep on our cruiser where there is limited storage space, so we can store them collapsed, and we can put food we buy on the way into them as necessary to put in the fridge or keep airtight to stay fresh. Those ones we have are much bigger though - this is a set of four of four different sizes, so check the measurements before buying, as you aren't going to get very much in the smaller ones. They're easy to collapse and expand, the lids are tightly fitting and airtight. I am slightly confused about the purpose of the vent in the top as there is conflicting information - on this page it both instructs to remove the lid before microwaving, and also says that it allows you to use them in a microwave with the lid clipped on. It's not entirely clear that they would actually allow steam to escape as they still seem to be airtight even if you lift the disc of the valve up a bit. I'm not sure that I would personally risk it - with food containers like these I tend to rest the lid loosely on top with a bit of a gap even if they do have a supposed microwaving vent. Slightly randomly, you get some extras to fill up the space in the packaging (since the boxes are different sizes it leaves a fair bit of empty space), viz. a couple of small silicone oven 'gloves' (more like grips) for hot pans etc. and a couple of bag clips of two different sizes.

The product arrived well packaged in a box. It is a set of 4 different size silicone food containers. What I love most about these containers is their collapsible design. When not in use, they can easily fold down to half their size, saving a significant amount of space in my cabinets or lunch bag. The lids are air tight and fit securely on the containers that keeps my food fresh and prevents leaks. I appreciate that the lids are transparent, allowing me to easily see the contents without having to open them. The containers come in different sizes, providing versatility for storing various types of food. I've found these containers to be incredibly durable. The silicone material is sturdy and doesn't warp or crack, even after repeated use and cleaning. I also love that they are microwave safe, allowing me to conveniently heat up my meals without having to transfer them to a separate dish. They are dishwasher safe, but they can also be easily hand washed with soap and water. The silicone material doesn't stain or retain odors, which is a definite plus. Overall, I highly recommend these silicone food storage containers. These collapsible containers are not only practical but also durable and easy to clean.

EDIT: One night love affair! The smallest one has split around the top tier after just housing tomatoes (image below refers). Hopefully a one-off ~ only time will tell. ooOoo I absolutely love this set of 4 x collapsible silicone-type boxes, which are relatively accurate to the measurements currently quoted in the product description (depends which bits you are measuring, i.e. inner or outer dimensions) and I am finding them really useful to organise fruit & veg, mainly in the fridge, at the time of writing. As a guide to size, the smallest takes 16 x cherry tomatoes of varying sizes that have recently come in from the garden. The largest takes a good few stalks of celery, some carrots + a trio of baby peppers. A reminder of what you can use them for is usefully embossed on the base (image below refers). They are fine in the dishwasher (top drawer, in my case). I haven’t tried in a microwave or for liquids. ooOoo ~ MATERIAL: ‘BPA-FREE FOOD-GRADE SILICONE’ ~ COLOUR: LIME GREEN with GREY contrast ~ APPROXIMATE MAX CAPACITY: ‘350/500/800/1200 ml’ Stacked in a sturdy cardboard box, the 4 came individually packed in a thin cellophane-type layer that is easy to open. The lids are a solid plastic-type and click into place on the 4 edges, being more forgiving to open than the rigid versions out there (and without breaking a fingernail), in my experience! When not in use, they easily collapse to take up little space in a cupboard, drawer or lunch bag, if using for such. The lids click back into place in the collapsed state, too. Also included with the set I received were 2 x neon-green coloured silicone ‘gloves’ each with built-in hanging hook + 2 x bag sealing clips (different sizes in blue, but may be random).

I love these. When not needed they collapse neatly so they take up less space in the cupboard and when needed they are well made, strong, have excellent fitting lids and even look good, means they really are a great addition to our kitchen. Being 4 different sizes means they are quite versatile. A real bonus is if one is only half filled, for example, just put the lid on and clip it in position, then remove the central plug and push gently down. Once made smaller just replace the central plug and that's it, all done. These 4 come with a couple of bags sealers - we use these all the time 0 and two small oven type gloves, which I find are not really my thing at all and I imagine they will remain in the drawer for quite some time. For these very useful containers - we had the green - I feel they are not badly priced at all and therefore are worth the full 5 stars.

Sadly one of the containers I received (the smallest of the set) had a tear in the silicone upon arrival, rendering it useless. The other three though were fine, so I'm guessing it might be a one off manufacturing fault. The containers are great for taking stuff to work in a lunchbox because they can be folded flat when empty, freeing up space in your bag. They're easy to wash too. The fact that they're foldable does mean though that they're also crushable in your bag. That's not the main use of these things though. They're more suited to home use and the fact they don't take up a great deal of storage room in your cupboard is really handy. The silicone is fairly thick and robust too and the one way valve on the lids allows air to expand out of the container, but not to seep back in again. The clasps on the lids clamp down really well and do form an airtight seal. Overall these are good containers, something I wouldn't have considered buying before having seen them in person. Currently priced at almost £17 with a £4 discount voucher makes them reasonable value especially if you're struggling with cupboard space to store containers, which take up a lot of room.

These are such a great idea. Foldable lunchboxes! I have so many mismatched Tupperware boxes of all shapes and sizes and every so often I try and match the bottoms to the lids and throw any unmatched away as they take up so much room if you store assembled that inevitably you lose a lid or bottom along the way. These are space saving and means you won’t lose a lid or bottom as they can be stored assemble and flat packed at the same time. You get four different sizes to suit your needs. They wash well in the dishwasher. The only thing to me mindful of is not to store anything delicate in them as having a flexible rather than rigid base and sides means the inside could get squashed depending on what is around it. Also comes with bag ties and silicone hand protectors.
